I was waiting in line for the bathroom with my girlfriend with maybe one or two other people. No line but it was clear who was first and there was absolutely no issue. Instead of dealing with the large crowd of kids smoking joints inside and probably drinking the owner came to the bathroom and pushed her way into it to knock on both doors (both of which co we saw people go into). She claimed they were ‘taking too long’ (again, we had been there and they went in maybe 15 SECONDS before she knocked on the door). All of this happened before she claimed she was the owner. When the door opened my girlfriend went to try to use it and she pushed ahead and physically pushed her aside to get in and screamed in her face. My gf finally went to the bathroom and the next door opened and when i offered it to her she claimed she didn’t need to use the bathroom. So she pushed someone to try and use the bathroom but didn’t need to use it?? There was absolutely no noise or reason to have someone come and create a line to the bathroom but she decided to anyways. She was going off about nothing coherent and when i kept asking her if she was actually the owner (not even my raised voice) she refused to look at me. She finally walked away and i didn’t see her anymore. All the people walking by and who were around were looking around in disbelief. The person at the door was incredibly kind and I hope they get paid a lot because dealing with that lady is not easy. It’s understandable to be stressed if you have a bunch of young people in a building but to try and fix a problem that did not exist and then scream and push someone is absolutely not okay. I don’t know what is going on but she needs to either get anger management or not be on site. I don’t know what could ever possess someone to act like that. Again, the young man at the front door is super kind and I wish...
Read moreWe are wedding photographers ourselves so we've been to many different venues and wanted something unique, special, and untraditional for our own wedding. Warehouse XI was the perfect space. We had about 100 people there and it the size of the space just right. It really is a blank canvas and you can do whatever you choose to it. If you wanted to hire a planner and designer to bring your vision for the space to life, it would come out beautifully.
My husband and I decided to take a more DIY approach. With the help of our friends and family we decorated the entire space the night before and I definitely recommend getting the space the day before if you're DIYing it. We created our craft beer bar, layered the dessert table with many cakes, and piled cheeses upon cheeses for our charcuterie table. We had biergarten tables and benches for our guests to sit at and had the amazing Sensational Paella cater. It was incredible.
We had planned on our ceremony being at the park next door but had to move it inside when the weather decided to downpour on us day. We are actually really happy that it rained all day because bringing the ceremony inside made it much more intimate. It was beautiful and everything was perfect!
Peggy, the owner of Warehouse XI, is wonderful. Being wedding photographers ourselves, we've worked with many different venue owners and Peggy is the most down to earth, fun, and helpful person to work with. During our planning she answered every question, helped solve every problem we came across, and offered ideas from previous weddings there. On the day of she was there working the entire time to make sure everything ran smoothly. We couldn't have pulled off all of our crazy ideas without her!
It really was the perfect place for us and our wedding, I only wish we could have a party like that...

From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance of Warehouse XI set the tone for an unforgettable celebration.
