Don't click the website or menu link that Google Maps has for this place, its wrong and apparently its been wrong for some time. I made that mistake and thought delivery (to my area, which is less than a 10 min drive from Mamma Lisa's) was free because all over that website it says FREE DELIVERY (to the immediate area). There is a delivery fee. (Not a huge deal, and not why I'm leaving 1 star) But, heads up...if you Google search for the correct website/menu (as the woman on the phone suggested) that likely won't give you the right result either. When I tried to look for menu items and prices on what i was led to believe was the right website I was given a redirect page to "Slice!" which is some kind of delivery service, but the catch is that Mamma Lisa's no longer partners with Slice — so i was prompted to "search for another pizzeria near me" and couldn't find a way around that to just look at Mamma Lisa's menu. My low rating is because I feel like I've just been duped by these people. The service over the phone...ugh... The gentleman who took my order didn't ask for my name or — more importantly — what size calzone I wanted, he made that decision for me and unsurprisingly made the most expensive selection on my behalf, and he failed to tell me the total for my order (which was simple, just one calzone) before the end of our call. When I called back to get that information a woman answered the phone. She told me my total was over $35, which sounded insane to me. So I asked for a breakdown. She said "well, you ordered a full calzone which is $29.99 that plus taxes and delivery fee comes out to..." — I stopped her there and questioned the delivery fee. "Oh, yea thats not our website, we've been trying to get that changed. We've had a delivery fee for the past 3 years." She was nice enough to waive the delivery fee this time, but said my order was already on the way and it was too late for me to change anything. I asked how much half of a calzone costs, just out of curiosity. "$17.99" she said. That sounded just as insane to me, but I bit the bullet. And I really wish I hadn't bit the bullet and paid for any of it. I was ordering a calzone for 2 people, not 5...a "full calzone" to them is literally TWO ENTIRE CALZONES (photo attached). We got the steak and cheese, with peppers and onions. The taste is whatever, not great, not the worst I've ever had, but certainly NOT worth $30. Not even close. And for the size of these things, they give you ONE measly dipping container of marinara. What is anyone supposed to do with that? Its gone after 3 dips. Used to come here for the pizza, but im considering not even going back again for anything because this was ridiculous. Nothing was clear or straightforward or upfront. From the online menu (where? Where is it even?) To the guy who took my order and didn't ask what size I wanted and decided for me....yea, thanks but I'll take my business elsewhere.

So I really don’t want to do this, but enough is enough. So my wife has been going to this place for over 30yrs. And the last few times ordering/delivery it’s been getting worse. So they delivered a half pepperoni half Cheese. They delivered it really over cooked. She calls to let them know while being nice and trying to resolve the issue. Of course the young lady on the line was dismissive and rude. So I say call back tomorrow and ask for the manager. So she does, and the guy who answered the phone say call back later rudely and just hung up on her. $28 for a large piece of charcoal, which has also shrunken and bad customer service. Don’t worry we will be finding another pizza shop. So much for supporting the local mom and pop business. Matter fact try @Reginapizzaria is a wonderful place that will get our business form now on. Thank you Ps. The delivery older gentleman has always been wonderful. But how is a restaurant that 3 blocks from me delivers cold hard burnt food?? Thank you

I ordered a half cheese pizza and chicken finger salad. Was disappointed in the salad! Chicken was NOT fresh and slightly stale. Huge chucks of tomato and generic dressing. Pizza was subpar, nothing impressive. I did like that I could order half a pizza instead of the whole box. Order was made quick! Overall 3.5 stars out of 5. Probably wouldn’t order again. Price was about $23 for salad and pizza.

I’ve lived in Somerville for over 20 years and have ordered from here SO MANY TIMES. This past Sunday, I was visiting my parents and we ordered food. We ordered about 4 subs and a salad. First, my mom placed the order for delivery and gave her order as usual. She was ready to pay and then was out on hold and she was hung up on by whoever was taking orders Sunday night around 7-7:30. i called back for my mom and gave her card number. So as of now, we have an order for delivery and was never given the total amount of the food. About an hour passes and I use my mom’s phone to call back and ask where the food is. The man said the food was ready for pick up when again, the first thing my mom asked for was delivery (as I was sitting right next to her when she said it). When we called back asking about the food my mom then told me to ask how much the total was and it came to around $115 which we were not aware and if that was the case we would have said nevermind. Now, we aren’t the richest people so hearing that amount was obviously startling and we wanted a refund because so far my mom was hung up on when trying to pay for the food, and had us sit for about an hour and a half for food that they “thought” was for pick up. As of today, she hasn’t got her refund and the food is STILL sitting there for us to pick up. Even if my parents DONT get the refund, do better with talking to your customers. If we had KNOWN the total we would have said absolutely not and figured something else out but the person taking our order was also taking someone else’s order as my mom was on the phone lol. As someone that works in customer service, this is not how you handle these situations and I am extremely...

Great Pizza. Great Calzones. Great People. Love this place and the pizza sauce is wonderful. Definitely 5 stars from me. I also just read some of the very few 1 star reviews for this place and noticed that none of them had a valid complaint.

I also read one from Teresa Budd who gave a terrible review. I was actually a customer in the store and witnessed Teresa create quite a scene because her pizza order came wrong. The employees apologised to her and began making her a new pizza. The whole time the pizza was cooking Teresa proceeded to elevate the scene by screaming and complaining at the employee's. She even called her boyfriend who came down and created an even bigger scene and physically threatened all the employees.

This all happened because of miscommunication because she is from England and the employees are "Foreign not from America" as she puts it. I'm from Ireland and my order is right everytime. If it came wrong I would definitely Not create a scene and belittle anybody because of...
