The first thing I asked the counter person was if they had boxes that the candy could be shipped in since I was getting a birthday present for my daughter and had to mail it. I am guessing that when we hand select candy we receive a flimsy box and the candies are not placed in paper cups inside a standard sturdy box that the pre packaged candy usually comes in. I didn’t complain at the time because the selection was excellent but after paying over $40.00 and imagining my daughter opening up a box of candy where all the pieces are jammed together I was thinking she would consider that I didn’t put much thought into this one time a year birthday gift. Read moreI absolutely love this store! No matter how many times we've moved, From Turlock to Stockton to the high desert in southern California now we're in Sacramento, I've managed to get my hands on their candy. My favorite are the peach gummies, cinnamon bears, chocolate covered cherries and rocky road fudge. Absolutely delicious! I've tried the sugar free chocolate box, when I was pregnant and had gestational diabetes and you couldn't even tell it was sugar free so don't shy away if your diabetic. The customer service is alway friendly and the prices are reasonable for such good product. Its a tiny store so be prepared for a line but it moves fast. We came up for mothers day and are already planning our next trip up. We appreciate this amazing craft and gem of a tradition. So much love from The...

However, another hour later, I had another one in my mouth.
Oh, the joy to be...
