Best pizza I've had in California.
I have actually eaten here before, and it was good, but yesterday we stopped through after a hike nearby and ordered the prosciutto pizza (added pepporni). Also ordered the mini breadsticks with beer cheese. That was good, but this dang pizza! Stole the show.
It had the best crust, perfect flavor combination I've had on a pizza in a long time. I'm not even a huge pesto fan, and yet it just went perfectly.
My only complaint is I wasn't as hungry as I'd liked to have been so I could have eaten more! But don't worry, I took it home and air fried it back to life and let me tell you, it comes back great!
This will now be my "too afraid to try anything else because it's now my favorite order at this place" order. Seriously. Go get this pizza and then thank me later!
The staff are great, quick, and attentive. They have great beers. Indoor and outdoor seating. Also, I'm an Ice Tea guy and not sure if it's instant or brewed, but I really liked it!
I messed up the cheese pull video, but just look at...
Read moreHow do they manage to have such delicious food!?!? I got their chicken sandwich here, and my god, the medley of flavors inside were sublime. I pushed myself to finish the sandwich even though I was getting full just because I didn't want to pass on any opportunity to take more bites of it. Very well assembled and presentable, too!
My girlfriend got a calzone, and that was also delicious. It came on a pizza plate, I think it's called, with the bumps on its surface to keep whatever it's plating from sitting in its own grease, and that was a great call bc there was definitely grease to keep it out of.
We'd also gotten an appetizer of breadsticks with the beer cheese fondue, and that was a delicious start to the experience.
The seating is just find an open table and sit down, and someone will come take your order in a few minutes give or take, which is a pleasant arrangement. Our order was taken correctly, and brought to us in good time given how busy the restaurant was. I'd bet the rest of their food is as good as...
Read moreWe stumbled upon this place on our way home from a hike. It was around 6:30 p.m. and it was not super busy. There were some empty tables. It was our first time here. Nobody greeted us when we walked in. Maybe because we're Asian?! A couple of employees saw us at the bar but they ignored us. We figured they were just busy so we just stood there and waited patiently. However, when we finally approached a waitress at the bar to ask about their hours and menu, she was rude to us and she didn't really want to help us. We almost left, but another server there was kind enough to help us. Samantha was welcoming, kind, attentive, approachable, and she was very good to us. If it wasn't for her, I would give this place a 1 star for the way we were treated by the first waitress. As for the food, the appetizers and calzone we ordered were delicious and the wait time...
