Zumi's International Food — Local services in South Daytona

The store is okay especially when you want to buy something from your Homeland, few of the issues you guys need to fix if you want some of the customers to return again and again.. No price tags on items (I have to ask every single time I’m interested in some item) I was there two times, first time husband was alone and sold me some item for one price, the next day I came to the store for those same item, and there was his wife alone, and she sold me same item with a difference $2 increase, I bought 3 pieces and lost $6 total, I told her that her husband sold this item for less money, and she smiled and refused to fix the price. You guys gained $6 or maybe even more on my 2 purchases, I spent $140 total in two days. But with your attitude of lying and cheating on customers, you lost me as your customer. Stop asking for cash at the register, there is no cash discount, you just don’t want to pay credit card fees and of course cash sales easily to hide...

What a gem I found unexpectedly, in the old Sunshine mall. I was at the mall for other reasons and saw Zumi's from a distance. Thankfully I was curious enough to go in. And when I stepped into the store it was like I was stepping into a different continent altogether. Everything I saw on the shelves appeared imported from the Old world. And as I came further in, the proprietor then showed me some homemade delicacies. She was extremely kind and allowed me to try her prepared sausages, salted and dried. I bought some of that (yummy) and also her spinach pie. I wanted to buy more but wasn't sure where I would stop! I hope to go back soon with my Italian-Czechoslovakian wife.

I don't consider myself to be a man of worldly culinary cuisines, but I felt I grew in that regard during my visit. I encourage others to try this unique little shop - I guarantee you won't find this stuff in your local...

I love markets and food .. I visit a lot of them .. This one was unique ! The woman up front was very kind, I wish I got her name. She answered all my questions and paired all the things I was interested in trying with other things (for example I picked up a delicious mushroom spread and she made sure I didn’t leave without a loaf of German bread that would go perfectly with it) I left with way more than I intended to when I went in because she was so attentive and seemingly enjoyed helping me. She shared some of the items with me to sample including some candies and chips. Now I have a new obsession for these candies otherwise I would never know I liked. She was very informative and KIND! Love to support small local owned business. I will be back as much as I can from the Deltona area !!! Highly recommend visiting if...
