Taco Bell — Restaurant in South Daytona

We ordered a couple different meals, for the most part everything was good, until I opened my spicy potato soft taco. the ranch sauce on it was absolutely rotten and vile. like I almost threw up. at that point tho I didn't know if it was the sauce or the potatoes. so I asked them if they could remake it and they did with fresh potatoes, it looked great, was stuffed with potatoes but still the sauce was bad. so I smelled it, and it was off, tasted a little tiny drop of the sauce to make sure and my Lord it was so disgusting I couldn't get it out of my mouth faster enough and I seriously almost threw up all over my family. we let them know their spicy ranch was beyond rotten. and my grandma asked them to make one with nacho cheese instead of that sauce. they did and seemed upset with us (we were very nice about the whole thing) and gave me the smallest little taco that looked like it had been smashed with like five potatoes on it. and the manager looked very angry with me as he gave me the second one. It made me feel like i was in the wrong even though I could've gotten extremely sick if I tried to eat that. all in all, not good service and that sauce is a serious health hazard, I really hope they threw it away and are using a fresh one on peoples food. it could kill somebody for real. Still love taco bell, just probably won't come to this one...

When I got my order from this location I didn’t get my nacho box I ordered so I called them and when they picked up the phone the first worker said that she couldn’t hear me so she just put me on hold, without telling me so then another worker picked up and I told her “I just received my order and didn’t get my nacho box” and the first thing the worker said to me was “Yes You did I put it in a clear bag” in an nasty rude tone and I told her “No there wasn’t an clear bag when I got my order” and then after some time arguing with her she got the manager on the phone and the manager told me that she would remake my nacho box for me and I said ok thank you and drove there, and when I got to the store this nice young man asked me what I needed and I told him “ I just got off the phone with the manager and she said she was gonna make the nacho box that I didn’t get” and the man was confused so he had to ask his co-worker if she was gonna remake it so she did, but while she was remaking it I could hear from the lobby that she was throwing everything around like she was in a bad mood or something and when I finally got the food the nice man said that he was sorry about that. For a Taco Bell, this place has been great every single time I come here. Most of the time when I visit late at night, there's a senior-aged gentleman working the window there, and he's easily the most super awesome guy who's ever worked at a Taco Bell. Sometimes the deciding factor in choosing which restaurant to make a late-night run to is the chance to have a short chat with him again. He's been there for years, he's super nice, super friendly, and truly the genuine article. Spending a few moments with him you can easily see that he's definitely a role model, not just to coworkers and customers, but to everyone. He's a treasure to our community and a cornerstone to this Taco Bell location. I wish I knew who he was. I'd LOVE to sit down with the guy and buy him some food and ask him all about his perspective on life. I'm super interested to know his story. The newspaper should do a story on him (if it hasn't been done already). He's who you imagined you'd be if you won the lotto and worked a job purely for the joy of interacting with people.
