I enjoy their dishes a lot for various reasons 1) not too salty 2) clean eating: the owner seek to eliminate preservatives & processed ingredients much as possible 3) handmade ā€œ man- do ā€œ (appetizer) 4) servers are all polite & quick to please customers I live a bit out of way from this restaurant and this is my ā€œ go-to -place ā€œ for Korean food. I highly recommend this place ( I’m South Korean so I know what I’m talking about … šŸ˜„šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£ Many of their dishes are authentic so if they are a bit odd.. simply ask them. ie. Original BiBimBop has crusty, crispy burnt rice layer ( bottom ) but you might think that it was burnt by mistake … It’s not. That’s the best part. The owner told me that they are no longer serving it like that anymore. But you can always ask for that crusty bottom layer. Also, you can always opt-out for that egg on top of BiBimBop. I like eggs fried not raw and watery. Or you can ask the sever o make sure the egg is cooked. If the dish comes hot enough, you can mix it up and let the heat of ā€œdol-sopā€ bowl and the other ingredients cook the egg for you. It is yummy all mixed up together. Don’t forget to add sesame oil & šŸŒ¶ļø hot pepper paste

My friend Tom and I sort of stumbled in on a Sunday afternoon...and didn't know what to expect...but immediately we were impressed with the decor and atmosphere. Then our server, Katy helped us understand the seemingly unlimited options and explained the tabletop grills. She helped us choose an absolute feast...and suggested the pork shoulder telling us she would personally help prepare it at the table. One dish after another began to fill our table...each one better than the last...the flavors were amazing! The squid, the glass noodles, the PORK...loved the fresh Kimche and the Happy hour special made the drinks flow easier too. She even made the desert green tea ice cream and cheese cake into a special treat! WE WILL BE BACK...AND OFTEN. It is nice to find a new and exciting place that you want to bring friends!!! Group dining here would be SO MUCH FUN. So, we brought my son and his wife when they were in town from Seattle...the habachi grills embedded in the tables create such a fresh, interesting dynamic...you will definitely feel like it's a feast!!! Order for the group and leave SATISFIED. I highly recommend you check this place out.

Amazing Korran BBQ. Service was stellar. Our waiter took my joking batter and returned it making the experience all that more enjoyable. We ordered a ton of food and took most home for meals later and the leftovers were as delicious as the meal!!! We started with the seafood pancake which was so worth the money stocked full of delicious seafood and scallions, Korean corn dog was gooey goodness of cheese and crab deep fried. Who said cheese and seafood don't belong together šŸ˜‹ We also tried the soy ginger fired chicken wings. It's delicious if you enjoy a thick batter. Crispy and flavorful. We ordered bipimbop, beef bugilo and shrimp for the table top BBQ. The bipimbop was one of the best I have ever had state side. Everything was delicious. We would not order as much next time and would probably pass on the shrimp as everything else outshines it. The atmosphere was lovely as well felt like you stepped into Korea and everyone from employees to customers were friendly.

New name. Same authentic old country food.

Usually, one of my qualifications of authenticity is the staff being from the country the food they are selling is from. This restaurant has all Korean staff. First plus. Next, the food has to be similar, if not authentic to the country it’s from. This restaurant has food that is nearly identical to that found in Korea (I’ve lived there a couple years and ate tons of different dishes). Second plus. Finally, despite being in the USA, I want to feel that I’ve stepped into the country I’m eating the food from. This restaurant is set in a building that looks like it once was an Italian restaurant. Ok, so it’s not perfect. I’m rating it 5 stars for being the ONLY true Korean restaurant in Daytona Beach. If you want Korean style and service, authentic food, and love that it’s now local, you should eat here. I’ve been waiting a long time and even contemplated opening my own restaurant to get the quality of food I’d expect (and that this place has). Korean food is more than ramen and fish. We had the Yook Gae Jang and Sam Gyeop Sal, both very difficult to find in the US. I almost died and went to heaven. Just like in Korea, the Aah Ji Maa (married woman) stayed at our table and helped up cook it, though I was fully capable. (I really like that I woke up the next morning and smelled Korean again.) I forgot pictures, but next time I go in, you’ll get some. Priced at normal American prices, you find it affordable. (In Korea, the prices would have been less) There is a large population of #Korean students at #ERAU and I’m sure they would love to know about this place, if they don’t already know. Their least busy times are in the evening. They are pretty steady for lunch through mid afternoon. Because Korean food takes so much time to prepare (and theirs is prepared fresh daily) they can tend to run out of food if the place becomes too busy, so don’t worry if you can get the dish you want. The more business they have, however, the more likely they will be able to provide more dishes, because they can hire more staff to prepare the food the night prior. It’s a win for the community! Bottom line, this restaurant is a must-have in our community and has the most authentic food I’ve eaten since I left Korea 15 years ago. You have to try it, even once. Tell them...

This was the worst experience I have had in a restaurant. I felt that my value as a customer was During my visit, a lady that I assume was the manager was greeting every table other than ours. I was not a fan of the rice cake and asked the server if we could get something else to off set the cost for the restaurant because I’m trying to be a conscientious consumer. I was going to order the beef brisket which is a higher price item. The server stated that this was ok and brought the brisket out. When the bill came I pointed out the rice cake was on the bill and the server stated that her manager said that I ordered it so they could not take it off.The server did not share this info previously and had no problem adding an extra order of beef brisket. The server stated that she was under the impression that this would not be a problem she went on to say that only the manager/owner could address my bill but they had left for the night although I just saw her chatting it up with a white couple asking them to visit more and if they were local and generally displaying good customer service behaviors. I hate to think this way but looking around me I felt that as a black person I was not valued or welcomed in this establishment and as someone visiting from another state this cast a negative shadow on...

Ok, the night started out great. We ordered the seafood pancake as an appetizer and it was very good. Then we ordered one short ribs bbq and one ribeye bbq. I personally enjoyed the short ribs better. The menu said 10oz of meat. We got nothing close to 10oz on either order. We didn’t complain, because the food tasted good. It was all going ok till this happened. They close at 10pm. We got there at 7:45. Around 8:40, when we weren’t even half way done with our food, the waitress comes with our check!!! She says the owners, who’ve been singing LOUD karaoke the whole time, asked her to give us the check because she leaves at 9pm. We kindly turned it down. First, we weren’t ready to leave because we WERE STILL EATING!!! Second, we thought we might get dessert, which we did. We got the green tea and the red beans ice cream. I preferred the later. My husband ordered some hot tea. The hot tea came and it was ice cold. We let the waitress know, all she said was, well we didn’t charge you for it. Didn’t offer us new tea or nothing. Well, even though I did enjoy the food, the whole evening felt like we weren’t welcomed and they couldn’t wait to kick us out. Will I GO back, maybe. Will I RUSH...
