This place is horrible, I dont like it. I have bought rotten meat, expired food from here and the parking is a joke, it takes like 15 mins to find parking because the store is so over crowed because its the only super market in South El Monte. The lines to check out are the same, takes for ever to stand in line and pay for your food. When the Numero Uno Market was open, the people who didnt want to stand in long lines and buy crappy food would go there and everything was great. But now we are forced to shop at Superior because its the only market in the area. I just heard the news that the old Numero Uno Market is going to be a 99 cents store, Really??? a 99 cents store?? The city of South El Monte does not need a 99 cents store, we need another market. Supposedly El Super and Northgate Market were very interested in opening up a store there and were already talking to the city, but for some reason it didnt go through. I believe the rumors are true, that the oriental owners from Superior are kicking somebody down with $$$ so that they stand as the only market in South El Monte. I paid part cash and part debit, as always, the red head lady clerk just now, canceled my card transaction, as I was finishing up paying the remainder $7.14 of $57.14 total on 5/25/24 time 16:39:24 time. When I asked her if she canceled my card transaction, she stated that I was using an 'EBT' CARD! I pulled out my card yet again, you can see the Disneyland blue card. That is poor customer service, and a poor judge of character, so I was cleaning up my yard and housework I am not going to be looking fantastic. But your staff do not need to judge somebody's character appearances and cancel their transaction.This is the last time I come to this store!!! That was so rude and inappropriate to judge someone. Only 2 lines were open and the lines were terribly long. With the amount of parking and merchandise this store offers, you would think management would 6 Cashier Clerks on duty the entire work hours 7 days a week.
