Fashion Nails Salon — Local services in South Gate

I came here because their Instagram page is beautiful and the designs are intricate. People seem to like it. MISTAKE. The woman who did my pedicure was annoyed because I asked for regular nailpolish on my toes. She painted coat after coat without giving them time to dry. My toenails are not only a mess, they're VERY crooked and uneven.

When doing my manicure she cut my cuticles to the point where I was bleeding. She also didn't clean the nail polish around my nails so the polish cured on my skin. I told her more then once and she just giggle saying my fingers were small. She also tried to leave my thumb with a giant ridge down the middle. I had to ask her twice to please do it again before she finally somewhat fixed it.

The last thing that really upset me, was that she couldn't do one of the designs on the Instagram page, I showed her 2 different ones and she said she would try. It didn't go well. She ended up leaving glitter on my nail and when I asked her if she could clean it, she laughed it off and didn't do anything. If it wasn't a basic one color job, she couldn't do it. $58 dollars for absolute garbage. I would never recommend them. It was one of the worst experiences I've had at a nail salon.

I had to go home and clean and file them so they didn't look so sloppy. I shouldn't have to do that. I paid a lot for someone to do it correctly and they didn't. I would recommend one of the other nail salons on the area. This was not a good place.

Edit: just FYI, the ridge she created from their broken machine permanently damaged my nail. There is a line down my nail that grows thinner than the rest of the nail in the exact same place where the ridge was that she created when she cured it using a broken machine. Don't come here. She permanently damaged my thumb nail. No manicure...

So upsetting, my god mother went to get her nails today and she asked for acrylic and pedi but for the acrylic she ask them with French tip and they first told her 5 dollar extra which she was okay with and then the guy that did her nail didn’t do the length that she wanted he did them short if she didn’t tell him to stop filling he would’ve of let them shorter, and then when he already apply the polish she ask him no French tip and he said no $15 dollar more when they had already told her $5 and I went to go back with her and told them about how she is not happy with her nails and service she got and they got all rude, the guy that did her nails was getting rude too and he just laughed and left like they can not be taking advantage of people that can hardly speak Spanish and have they pay and she paid for a service that she didn’t get, They should do what their customers are asking for instead of doing what they want!!! I've been coming here for a couple of years already, I used to get nails and pedicure the place will always be busy but they would do a good job. I had a baby and life got chaotic for me didn't have the chance to be consistent. Started to come by again, they haven't been as busy as before every single time i go they are rushing doing such a bad job, hurting me and they look so miserable and their customer service is horrible always given me an attitude, I'm usually quite and go to get some me time while my baby goes to school.
