Strength Haven — Local services in South Haven

Strength Haven is a solid gym! My adult daughter and l really enjoyed our experience there. It has everything you would want from treadmills and nautilus type weight machines, to free weights, bands and yoga mats. The owner is very nice. It is staffed Mon & Thurs., but is open 24hrs. Have to go online to buy and print out/show your phone to scan a bar code just outside the entrance. I noticed it did not smell like a gym at all. That is a good thing! The gym has a dehumidifier running, and lots of Damp Rid products to keep any damp sweatiness out of your nostrils. There are also fans running and the A/C kept it comfortable. Cleanliness is emphasized and sanitizer spray & paper towels are located throughout to make it convenient no matter where you are in the gym. Just two small criticisms. There are nice big windows, but they are in need of a good cleaning. Also, there are two big, clean single occupancy bathrooms. The one l was in also had a shower. I assume the other does too. Both were occupied when l needed to use the restroom. I was wondering why the people inside were taking so long, and when l went in, saw the shower. This place is incredible! The customer service is out of this world. I came to South Haven to spend the weekend and was bummed to see that I couldn’t get a day pass because the business isn’t opened on Saturday or Sunday. However, I left a message to ask about coming in, Esther called me with say she could let me in remotely, Natalie returned my message to say she’d be there and could send money through Venmo, super convenient. I am beyond impressed with the service they provided and enjoyed my workout. The place is clean, organized, and spacious....

We only used a day pass while vacationing in South Haven, so this is based on that type of experience. First, very affordable. Second while the process is easy, you have to call the phone number, there did not seem to be an online option. Third, the gym has a lot of equipment. Everything was in good shape and worked. The only downside is that they only have one of most things and this place is popular, so you may have to wait for a person to finish. Everyone lifting was very nice and courteous. I definitely will be going back the next...
