Lake Tahoe Boat Rides — Local services in South Lake Tahoe

Love LTBR! We have a place in North Shore, but always enjoy taking a ride on one of their boats with their amazing Captains. We had great time touring around Emerald Bay yesterday with Jesse. I'd rather have someone else drive the boat so I can relax on the water. Highly highly recommend this boating outfit. Very information as well as you'll learn a bit about the history of LT if you like ;-)

BACK again on year later - fantastic trip on the boat yesterday. This year we had Captain Heather and she was super friendly and fun. Would highly recommend that Captain Heather!! As always, LTBR was the highlight of our annual trip to Tahoe. We have a place on the North Shore, but happy to drive an hour South to have someone else drive the boat for us. Takes the stress out of hiring our own boat. This year Heather got us close enough to jump on the little island in Emerald Bay and the kids in our group (more like young adults) jumped in and swam a little bit to the island and hiked up the top. Super fun experience. Thanks again LTBR - will see you again...

On top of paying $750 for 3 hours 18% gratuity is also demanded and I really did not want to give my captain any tip as he did not fulfill on our boat ride. He was more concerned with making sure our shoes our off so we didnt dirty his boat and we had water shoes on than he later was more concerned us taking off our life jackets asap after going into water instead of us being safe with the life jackets on because he didnt want to get his boat wet. Very unsatisfied experience. I also was told boat tour was customized to out liking I mentioned only 3 of us out of six would like to do water sports and see emerald bay. He took us beyond emerald bay wasting our time and only allowed tubing and I purposely added an extra hour so I can wake board even asked if I can just do it quickly for 10 mins and he said no completely ruined my birthday and wonder if he even had wake boards on board as he pushed us to just tube. Excellent service and creditable service provider in South Lake Tahoe. We searched for other chartered boat companies on Lake Tahoe and found best service here even before getting on the boat. Once on the boat, Captain Steve was great. It was our first time on Lake Tahoe, and he provided lake history and interesting facts while taking us to the hot spots. Steve was able to even able to get us onto the island where the "Tea House" is in Emerald Bay. We could access many spots on the lake that others could not because they had either rented their private boat and lacked experience to access areas or the charter hired was not flexible to the plans of their guest. At all times during our 4-hour trip (we recommend the 4 hours), we felt the trip was about us. We learned to water ski, snorkeled in multiple locations, and visited the "tea house."
