I love this store. I always have a great experience there. The site have excellent products to a great price. However, last night I was disappointed with the cashier at the Coral Way store. There was an Indian women trying to pay for her groceries. The cashier was talking to her in Spanish. She told her she didn't speak that language. The cashier, instead of trying to help her in other way, turned her head to the other side ignoring her and showing her dislike. This happened several times while the woman was trying to pay without understand how much she owed. I finally helped her, while the cashier rushed to start taking care of me without even finished with her. After I paid, I asked for my receipt and she gave me the one that belong to the lady along with mine, and asked me to give it to her. She was obviously avoiding the women in all accounts. I understand how difficult could be to communicate in other language when you don't understand it. I have been there too. But there is an universal language that does not require much knowledge and is amiability, sympathy and show the other person you truly care, even when you don't speak their language. That cashier does not understand she is working there thanks to the costumers buying in that store. The management at that store should be very aware of those behaviors, especially in a much...
Read moreFor me Aldi is a convenient store just to save money! But not for the pleasure to buy groceries in a nice place, because to qualify for that has to complies with many things that Aldi is missing. For example: You can buy organic food for low prices , which is fantastic, but the expiration day of the food is to close to date you buy it, furthermore you have to cook it or eat it really fast if not you will loose your money. Another issue I encountered is the store is to small and to many people go inside with their shopping cars then is uncomfortable to walk there and take the item you want. In the other hand, the staff are not professional at all!!! They treat you with not respect and no ethic as others supermarkets like Publix or Whole Food do, and this is not should be a matter of money. It does not matter if Aldi is cheapest than the other supermarkets above mentioned or not, is about manners, is about to be courteous and polite with customers. In my personal case, if I visit a place that have a good prices but don't treat my self with respect as I deserve I will not comeback !! I recommend to Aldi's manager to do an appropriate training to...
Read moreALDI's prices are very reasonable & their produce is fresh. Since I knew that they don't offer shopping bags to pack groceries, I brought my own. My negative is that you need to carry change in order to use one of their shopping carts. This company needs to realize the we live in a Digital World and coins are just too heavy & cumbersome to keep in a small bag.
After I parked my vehicle, I saw a loose cart in the middle of the parking lot. Before I was able to grab it, a man quickly took the cart, attached it to other carts, pocketed the $.25. Since I didn't have a quarter with me, I actually waited for a patron to come out of the store & asked for her shopping cart when she was done. She was very understanding & gladly gave me her cart.
There has to be a better system in place whereby shoppers can buy groceries with ease and not have to rent a shopping cart for a quarter in...
