I was hesitant to try this place bc i am very picky with cookies. I ordered a triple chocolate chip and a baklava cookie. since it was uber pickup, i went to pick it up at the store. when i walked in, the lady saw me, did not even greet me after she saw me twice - already threw me off. When she finished with the customer, she assisted me, gave me my order and i went off. When i got home, i noticed that these cookies were off. The supposed 'baklava' was nothing close to baklava. baklava is my favorite dessert and I have tried a lot of it so i know what to expect. i took a bite and i was immediately disappointed. This cookie consisted of a flavorless dough with chopped walnuts slapped on top doused in honey- not to mention, these walnuts were burnt. It was just awful. Next, the triple chocolate chip - might as well call it dough with a bit of chocolate. this cookie left me in disbelief. all dough with about 20 chocolate chips. the majority of the cookie was white, so i don't know where the 'triple chocolate' was hiding. Overall terrible cookies, would not recommend. When I went to call for a refund because of my utter disappointment, I was greeted on the phone with ladies who pretty much could care less and didn't feel the need to go above and beyond and help me. I had already contacted uber eats but since it was pickup, i was told that it was on the store to return it. The ladies lied to me and said they could not give me a refund. I say lie because i had ordered a vegan cookie about 15 min before this order and they had to refund it because they don't have them anymore. So how is it possible to refund a previous uber eats order but not this one.. LOL. anyway. This place is not worth it! baked up cookies are SO much better. The people here are unhelpful, unfriendly, and terrible with customer service. my god. i never write reviews but this...
Read moreAfter going to several artisanal shops, Iâve always felt that Midnight Cookies & Cream made the better cookies- soft, chewy, and not overly-sweet. However, tonight I ordered a cookies & cream cookie and saw that they didnât bake it sufficiently where the center was somewhat raw (as shown in the picture). Even my brother, whoâs not picky and is a trash monster with sweets, called on itâs dough-like appearance and refused to eat it. I took my container and showed one of the front desk workers about my undercooked cookie and she said, âitâs perfectly normal. Thatâs just how we bake our cookiesâ with no mention of offering a replacement. I understand some individuals enjoy eating undercooked/raw centered cookies, but I felt dissatisfied with what was given to me. Especially, since undercooked flour and eggs is a possible health concern for food poisoning and...
Read moreNo wonder this place is empty. The cookies were absolutely horrible and overpriced. Although they matched the size in the display, a whole lot of nothing is still nothing. The copious amounts of frosting on the cookies overpowered the taste of the dough, which even by store bought standards tasted like a sad microwaveable replica of a real cookie. Actually, maybe microwaving them would make them taste better. I promise I tried multiple flavors, and there was nothing special about any of them. I thought this might be a nice alternative to some place like Crumbl, but buying four cookies amounted to $21 and then some whereas a box of four at Crumbl would be about $6 less. There wasnât even soap in the bathroom to help clean up afterwards. I really wanted to enjoy this and support this local business, but maybe thereâs a reason they havenât...
