I went to this Five Below to buy two pool floats and when I arrived at the register I asked the lady if they inflated the floats (they do at the Kendall location) she said "No". I told her they advertise that they inflate them. She responded they only do it for customers that request it. I told her I was requesting it. She then charged me for the floats put them in a bag and handed them to me. I asked her "aren't you inflating them?" she doesn't respond but hands them to the other young lady there. Then she takes them back from the lady and throws them in a cart and takes them away to the back. I told her to forget it, that I would take them without inflating and she just kept walking, she didn't respond. I asked her for her name, she didn't respond. She kept walking and locked herself in a room at the back of the store. I went up front and asked the other young lady what her name was and she said the lady's name was Arlette and she was the manager. Clearly, this lady needs extensive training on customer service. It was an awful experience for two cheap $10 pool floats. I will never return...

Then when I proceeded to do a refund would not refund me in cash even though I paid with a (google pay)debit card, it gets worst because she didnt know that I needed to do the refund with GooglePay and I didnt have my wallet on me even though I told her I would have to do it that way. GooglePay and refunding using a card is two different transcations. Now I had to go back to the car to get my card all for it not to work and then finally she listened to me and let me use the googlepay for the refund and it worked of course. Please train your employees and label your prices with a price gun. Ill never go back to this five below. And they didnt have self checkout so I had to wait a really long time for one...
   Read moreVery rude staff. One of the cashiers rudely commented to my friend âdo you not know how to readâ due to accidentally pressing the wrong number on the keypad during checkout. Afterwards, my friend forgot her keys and when she went back a few minutes later to ask the same cashier for them, she was like âoh do you happen to have a picture of them, what do they look likeâ. Not sure if ANYONE on this world actually takes a picture of their keys?? Finally checked after a few minute and when she gave them back she rudely comments âyou should take a picture of your keys for the future, oh and while youâre at it, learn how to read as wellâ I will edit the review and leave her name because I highly think this is something the manager has to address with the employee.
