Massage Advance Therapy — Local services in South Miami

Truly a gem in Miami. I had an appointment yesterday that I booked via phone call. My cousin had gotten me a Groupon deal for a 60-minute massage during the Holidays, which was perfect because my body had been aching really badly. Upon arriving, I found parking easily. I took the stairs to the second floor and went to the suite.

When I entered the office, the owner, Alex, and a staff member greeted me right away. They had me fill out a form for my basic information. Then Alex asked me what kind of massage I wanted (deep-tissue, stretching, areas to concentrate on, any pains, etc.) and if I wanted to use the restroom before we started. I didn't have a preference for the gender of the masseuse, so Alex did my massage.

He showed me the room and it was pretty cozy. The massage bed was heated and wow! It felt amazing already! After taking off my clothes (except undergarment), I laid on the bed under the covers face down. Then Alex knocked and came in, and confirmed what to work on in the 60 minutes. He started with my back and neck and worked his way to arms/hands, legs/feet, and then put hot towels on my back. It felt awesome.

I thought the massage was finished but Alex instructed me to turn over, so I was like--wow, the massage was so good that I thought it was done already. He did stretches, physical therapy moves, massaged my collar bone areas (my first time), and asked me how the pressure was throughout the session. He was very professional, respectful, and passionate. You can tell that he was good because he pinpointed where my pains were and asked if what he was doing was helping to relieve the areas.

At the end of the session, Alex thanked me and told me to take my time in the room and he will be at the front. When I went to the front after getting dressed, he gave me a bottled water and asked me how I felt, if the pains are still there, and what did I think of the massage. He said he is the owner and told me about the specials they are having if I wanted to go back. He was not pushy at all and was respectful. His English was not great but he really tried and we were able to communicate anyways.

The plaza itself is kind of dingy but the massage place is fine in my opinion. It's truly a gem in Miami. The restroom isn't very appealing design-wise but it is functional. First off- WOW! When I say wow, I mean it. I was in search of a massage therapist in my area because I suffer from chronic back pain from scoliosis. I came across this location and it's reviews and decided to give it a try. Making an appointment was effortless by phone.

To start off, this is not your typical spa where they massage you with some oils and you're done. This is so much more. Alex gave me an amazing massage, while also aiding me with physical therapy. Within the first minute of starting my massage, he knew exactly where I had pain based on the tension he felt.

Another huge factor for me is cleanliness and professionalism. It is evident that Alex treasures his business and clients because the place was immaculately clean and he was extremely professional. He made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire massage and walked me through what he was working on.

And also most importantly- the price was very very affordable. I have been to countless massage therapists that charge double of what I paid here, and never found any relief.

I walked out of my massage feeling BRAND NEW.

Alex also mentioned they offer many services including facials (which is something I'll definitely be booking soon) couples massages, reflexology, post-op lipo massages and more.

I am very very impressed with this location and with Alex- I will be a client of his for life.

First time getting a massage and I have to say these people are wonderful, I have been needing a massage for a very long time but I had never had one and was very scared to have someone random just touch me or do something wrong. But because of so much back pains, leg pains, cramps, sciatica pain and barely being able to walk anymore. I had to finally try a massage and because of the good reviews I decided to try this place and Alex is amazing!!! They really know what they are doing and the actual pressure points to relieve tension and pains ! My bf got his done with a lady names Susana and she was great also and he was very relieved after the massage.
