Locals, check this place out. Hidden local treasure. It’s not what you would expect from a typical Japanese sushi’s place. Located in a dive of a strip mall. We went on a Saturday night and there was (loud) Latin live music. You won’t be able to carry on a conversation while the singer had the mic. Unexpected.

Ordered the tostones with shrimp. Quite impressed. The toston was cooked to perfection and the crab and shrimp topping was delicious. Krab balls…!!! A must order. There’s a hint of coconut and so delish. Main entree was the Daniela roll. Was a little hesitant to see that tomato was one of the ingredients, BUT don’t hesitate. This roll does not disappoint and heightens every single tastebud in your mouth. Colorful roll had a refreshing amount of seaweed. Also ordered the tropical roll (way too much food!) took a bite and had to pack it up to take home. Oh, and then we ordered dessert 🫣 to share with the table. Didn’t take a pic but we had the guava roll. Interesting texture - didn’t expect to have rice in this roll but it worked. Highly recommend as a great hidden treasure...

After reading the reviews and seeing the different variety of sushi , my friend and I were excited to visit . From the looks of it, they remodel. Nice cozy place .

For appetizer we order something that had tostones and mix seafood. It was good 👍, I would say 4/5.

I forgot the name of the rolls we order. To be honest it was nothing amazing . They were good but nothing that blew our mind .

I was a little disappointed with the menu . Almost every Sushi roll had platano frito inside or krab meat ( not crab meat) . I did not see any sushi roll that stood out . The menu they offer in the restaurant is different from the menu here in Google map .

Service: Our server was ok. The only concern i have is she did not speak English. My friend does not speak Spanish, so when she tried to order in Englsih I had to translate to the server . It did not bother me but I'm sure for some people it will. Her services was ok. 😕

But over all...

I was very impressed by this place. We went based on a recommendation and the food was amazing. We had the ceviche roll, JB tempura roll, tropical island roll and the daniela roll.

We didn’t know that the actual place was going to be so nice and relaxing. Our server and even sushi chef attended us very well. Definitely going to be going back and would recommend this place to anyone if they enjoy a nice relaxing sushi restaurant with delicious rolls.

2nd Visit: Came back for a second time due to how good the sushi was and Frank (Sushi Chef) was kind enough to give us a chef’s experience and made us try such fresh and different flavored sushi’s. It was truly an experience worth trying for yourselves. Left very impressed and satisfied by the food and especially the conversations we shared with Frank. He is extremely passionate and knowledgeable...
