Dream On Dance — Local services in South Riding

Updated Dec 2022: My original comments about the studio remain below. In continuing the theme of being a wonderful studio, we've just recently watched our daughter's third performance since joining Ms. Grace. I believe that Ms. Grace does a wonderful job showcasing the students' talents, and praising them for the work that they've done over the course of several months. Even though the studio is a small business, the staff does not cut any corners when it comes to providing great customer service. Ms. Grace and her team set a wonderful example for young children to emulate in so many ways.

Dec 2021: Our little one has enjoyed her first several months going to Dream on Dance. As a six year old that took a little bit of ballet with a different instructor last year, she felt like Ms. Grace and her students were a great fit. This winter's performance was beautifully done. Also, our daughter wanted to change things up a little bit and try something new.... hip-hop! We cannot complain about the variety and professionalism that Dream on Dance offers. My daughter has been going to dream on dance since she was 2 years old, she is now 7. Ms Grace does a wonderful job of balancing assertive and gentle instruction. She means business and expects the children’s attention when in class and does a good job of commanding that attention in a way that the children understand and without disrespect. The studio is very inclusive and non-judgemental, where everyone has a spot to shine. Ms Grace teaches and guides the children in a way that is both encouraging and free-spirited. She also makes a concerted effort to get to know every child that joins the studio, building upon the relationships she has with each and every student as they continue their lessons. We have been a part of the Dream on Dance family since 2019 and are happy to see that the studio is growing and have continued to add more offerings. My child dances confidently without worrying what anyone thinks, has fun doing it and Dream on Dance was a big part of fostering that confidence. We have just finished our first year with Dream on Dance, and we are so happy we found this studio! Both Ms. Grace and Ms. Lisa are phenomenal with the dancers. My daughter left every dance class smiling. Each class was fun, and she was learning so much. She loves to tell me the ballet words for her moves as she shows off at home.

We love the parent watch week set up for the younger dancers. Ms. Grace provides costumes, and the dancers get to perform for their families at the studio. This is a perfect way to give the girls performance time without the burden of a long show or purchasing expensive costumes. My daughter loved the beautiful costumes and putting on a performance best.
