My visit to this salon was beyond disappointing--it was a complete nightmare. I really wanted to like this salon but I have never been treated with so much disrespect - it's appalling. I was yelled at by a technician that wasn't my own - perhaps the owner? And she wouldn't even let me talk without her yelling over me infront of everyone. She was even snickering to her customer about me outloud saying I "wasted [their] time." accusing me of waiting until the end to complain when in fact I had been informing the assigned technician the whole time.
I went in for Gel X and noticed early on it was really, really thick and curvy. I mentioned to my technician several times during the session that it looked really thick but she kept assuring me it would be fine in the end and that's how it's supposed to be. I trusted her since she kept assuring me it would be ok. After she put the color on, I made the comment again and let her know I really did not want those little speed bumps where the color/cuticle starts. She asked a technician for a second opinion and she explained that in order to correct it, I would need to do a different method and not Gel X. I was really confused because I've done Gel X multiple times but have never seen it so thick and fake looking. They kept trying to convince me that my thick nails were fine so I actually asked two customers and they agreed that it looked really thick and even commented saying it was uneven. I did not tell the technicians that even the customers agreed with me because I did not want to ruin the customers' experience at the salon - but maybe I should have so they could realize what everyone else was thinking.
I respectfully asked them to remove them because it was just so hard to look at. I even offered to pay for removal. They initially were polite about it but when I sat down, that's when I overheard the angry technician say I was "wasting [their] time." I stood up for myself and let them know I communicated several times that it was looking way too thick but she kept cutting me off and continued to berate me infront of everyone in that quiet room. Because I was so flabberghasted that I was getting yelled at, I found myself apologizing for their unsatisfying result (even though I knew I had no reason to actually be sorry) yet she still kept yelling at me. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, I was publicly berated and mocked by a technician who wasn't even assigned to me. Her aggressive behavior, coupled with snide remarks that she made to other customers infront of me outloud, left me feeling humiliated and unwelcome.
I entered this salon with high hopes, only to be met with utter disdain and mistreatment. No customer should endure being yelled at and ridiculed simply for expecting a basic level of respect and service. This experience was not only deeply upsetting but a clear demonstration of appalling customer service practices.
I had hoped to support a local business and spend a moment to unwind. Instead, I left feeling shaken and disrespected. I urge anyone considering this salon to think twice about where they invest their time and money, as no one deserves to be treated with...
Read morePoor service, inconsistent quality. First time I came here, nails came out fantastic. Second time - not so much. Paid $50 for holographic gel nails. Then in less than a week the gel was lifting from the nail bed on a few nails because it was not properly cured. I come back for a fix, they didn’t say how much but had to re-do the whole paint job. In the end we agreed to $20 for the repair. Fair enough. I come back and ask them to add another coat because one of the nails you could see was not shiny. I also asked them for more holographic powder on the nails and at this point I can tell they’re done with me and treat me like trash. Sorry but it’s not my fault I keep having to come back because of unsatisfactory results - which I was willing to pay for a second time. It took me extra time to come back here. Usually a gel should last for at least three weeks - that’s why we pay the extra price for it! Will not be coming back and I do not...
Read moreI came in to get my nails done and had asked beforehand if they could do a gel manicure with a very simple bow design. They assured me they could, but when it came time for the design, the technician struggled with it. Other employees then pushed me to use stickers, but none of them looked good. Since the base gel manicure had already taken such a long time, I was initially open to it, but they were all too large and continuously tried to push me to use stickers too large even though I pushed back.
Eventually, another technician (who was so rude) insisted she could do a simple hand-drawn bow. She rushed through it in a matter of seconds, and unfortunately, it looked sloppy. At that point, I was exhausted from the whole process and just agreed to it, but looking at it now, I’m really disappointed on how bad it looks.
The overall experience was frustrating, and I won’t be returning—especially because of how dismissive that one...
