Below is my experience with the store after I bought a mattress and the quality deteriorated after 4 months of usage to the point where it feels like it's sinking in. I was going to write this review rather or not the store resolves my issue. If anyone know if I can take any further action please message me.
I bought a mattress from this store back in April 2023 and the mattress sinked in. I contacted the store to see if it's under warranty because I've only used it for 4 months. Johnny told me to email pictures to Steve. I contacted Steve and he asked for some photos which I sent to him. I waited a week and Steve doesn't respond. I followed up by calling the store and Johnny told me wait for Steve to respond. I waited a total of 3 weeks and there is no response from Steve and I had to keep calling the store to follow up on my inquiry.
After 3 weeks of no response, I got on the phone with Johnny and he said he will send someone out for $75 to inspect the mattress or I can bring it in. At this point I told Johnny it doesn't make sense for me to bring my mattress in after all this waiting with no response so he should send someone to inspect it for free. He said he has to check with Steve first. I called back the next week , but this time Steve or Johnny(not sure who was on the phone) said they didn't respond to me for 3 weeks because they had to check with the manufacture if my photos qualify for warranty. After long talks, we came agreement that I will only get charged the $75 if this store bring the mattress back and fix it. This whole process made me believe that the store was just ignoring me because whoever was on the phone was me got very defensive when I asked him to show me proof they were waiting for the manufacture to respond.
The store's inspector came to inspect the mattress and said it's normal wear and tear. That was what I expected them to say because I already know they can say anything to not help fix the mattress. Then Steve on the phone said it's normal for a mattress to feel soft after 4 months of usage. He also said they would take it back and allow manufacture to inspect it but also said most likely nothing will change. So that made me believe I won't know what this store will do and they could just be taking my mattress then give it back to me after a few days without fixing anything.
In my opinion, people don't buy expensive furniture for it to deteriorate so quick, especially not 4 months. I understand there's wear and tear but the quality got so soft that it feels like it's sinking. I don't like the quality at all. Especially when I bought the mattress I was under the impression by the salesman that the quality will last a long time. I won't have bought it if the quality doesn't last. Before the inspector left I asked if there's any guidelines they need to follow when inspecting furniture. He said he's just a deliveryman and I need to call the store for that. That just shows this store can say anything and not help us customers.
Overall, my experience with the store is very negative when it comes to getting their attention when something goes wrong. In my opinion, the workers Steve/Johnny are very sketchy and dishonest. It doesn't seem like to me they do what they said they are doing when I kept following up with them. The way they communicated back to me seem like they're switching things up and going back on their words. The good thing was that I only spent $700 and not a whole lot of money. When you walk in its obvious that this location understands the very simple nature of attracting buyers in 2025: Amazing prices and an abundant collection of different styles to suit everyone's tastes. My mom's quite picky, but she took both a wardrobe and coffee table on the spot. The one hiccup was delivery, the wardrobe sustained minor cosmetic damage when it connected with a wall on the way in. When I told Steve what had happened he and Johnny made it right. Simple. This is where to go for attractive furniture, and prices youd be hard pressed to find online. We contacted the owner with images and videos, he said we need to push to slats and put nails over it to secure them. After we installed everything as told. The slats broke down in 6 months. Iâm only 116 lbs and the middle slats cracked when I rolled over to reach for TV remote! Anyways, store owner refused to exchange the bed for us or work with us to fix the issue.
