Hello! I am a licensed Cosmetologist and I spent the last year renting a chair here. I wanted to leave this review because I am moving on to a new space and I felt it was nessasary to share my experience working here. I am still fresh into the industry (2 years under my belt after beauty school) and I had the pleasure of working with very talented people. This salon has a professional for everyone. Mary and Silvia do amazing work with Latina hair. Not only are they bi-lingual, they have tons of experience under their belt AND they're absolutely lovely to their clients and collegues. Aleana is awesome with locs of all walks and her colors are chefs kiss Charles is fabulous with Asian hair and is a total sweetheart. Jackie has the magic touch when it comes to children of all ages and does beautiful wedding hair. Henry (one of the owners) has his nail technique down to a "T" and makes everyone feel special and important. Leti's nails are far beyond her years of experience (we were in school together) and is quick as a whip! Mary has been in the game for a while, but you'd never know it be her trendy work and bubbly personality. Keekaa is in her first year out of school and can easily keep up with the rest of these experienced nail techs with her hand painted designs. Danielle does it all. Nails, hair AND microbladed eyebrows, the proof is in the pudding (and on my own face) Last but not least, Katty, Henry's wife and business partner. She shares everyone's beautiful work on their socials and does it well. This salon is one of Spark's best kept secrets and every 5 star review you read is well deserved ❤ If you're looking for a great environment to booth rent in, this is a great spot if you have the clientele to run on your own. My daughter wanted her hair done for her birthday. She wanted a ombré with mermaid colors. I went to the salon inside of Ulta, and they destroyed my daughters hair. She also left crying because the lady that did her hair gave her a chemical burn from the bleach. We couldn’t even finish getting it done we left halfway threw the process because she was crying in pain. He hair looked terrible and she was so upset. I talked to Jackie, and she was so wonderful. She took good care of my daughter, and fixed all the mistakes that the first salon made. She was so patient, even when my daughter was tired of sitting and getting her hair done. The first salon made my daughter leave in tears because of the pain, and when she left after getting her hair done by Jackie she cried because she was so happy. Also ulta’s salon wanted to charge me $300 and Jackie did it for a lot less. I can’t recommend this salon and Jackie enough. We are going to keep coming back to this salon. About 6 weeks ago I was in a crisis because my then-hair stylist canceled the morning of my appointment and I had a wedding to attend the next day. I was frantically calling around and was fortunate enough to be referred to Sav at Beauty To Go. She made me an appointment for 2 hours later and was absolutely amazing. She's incredibly easy to talk to and very sweet. I was nervous to be trying a new stylist and didn't know how my hair would turn out but she did a full color and trim and I couldn't be happier.
