Donut Bistro — Restaurant in Sparks

I personally believe wholeheartedly that the donut bistro is the best place in the only place to get donuts in northern Nevada. I don't know what they put into them, but they are hands down the only place to get donuts. I started getting my son. Their big giant donut every year for his birthday and all his friends would get so excited because I bought it from Donut Bistro. My oldest lori went to school with the owner's oldest son. I remember all my daughter could talk about before they opened was how they were opening up that donut shop. My family is so very grateful that they did because we get donuts all the time here. If you never tried out their fantastic donut, I highly recommend you bring your family here, and you, too, will be hooked. I am adding a picture of my big donut, my cheesecake filled one, and just 1 of my huge cinnamon roll because the other one I sat an ate in my truck. But just so you see, it's worth every penny I paid, which was under $10 for all of them.

My daughter and I went here for the first time today. The reason I'm only giving it a rating of 2 is because the customer service was terrible and the donuts were average. Thankfully they were inexpensive. We walked to the register to place our order, after having stood at the donut display for sometime. There were 3 people standing there. We were the only customers in the shop. There was a woman counting money on the counter and 2 guys just standing there watching her. My daughter and I stood there for a bit without them saying anything to us. With the energy the were giving off I thought they might be closed. So I asked them. Then one of the guys answered no and took our order. It was kind of awkward. I had a bavarian cream filled donut that had one bite that actually had cream. I felt like it was a donut I could've simply purchased from a grocery store. Given the multitude of other donut shops, needless to say we will not...

After a horrible experience at the stone house cafe, we were looking for an alternative to what to get on Easter Sunday at the very last minute before my sister and cousin had to get on planes back home. We found this donut bistro and it was perfect! Great donuts and coffee, and the staff member working at the time was so helpful and friendly! He made my one year old laugh by playing peek a boo with him from behind the counter. This was such a nice break from what we had experienced earlier and it was a perfect chance to catch up before saying bye to my family.
