Matt Furniture — Local services in Spencer

I will start this review by admitting that my low 2-star rating is ONLY because of what I feel is ridiculous pricing at Matt Furniture. After visiting there, I thought maybe I was just inexperienced in the furniture market and had no idea what it all actually cost. But when I asked around finding all negativity, and even had people from Chicago (expensive, big-city Chicago) telling me that "such-n-such price" was a LOT of money for a single item, I confirmed my shell shock was merited.

Now that I've gotten that price complaint and rant out of the way with an explanation of my low rating, I want to add that Matt Furniture did offer great service and friendly staff. Their store is beautifully set up and elegant in all manners. There looks to be all kinds of great selections in various types of furniture. I will say the staff here is nice and responsive. The delivery service was great.

We purchased a flipable mattress that had a quality, manufacturing issue. Thank you, Gary, for taking care of us. The mattress is now very firm and very supportive for our backs. I'm not sure we would have gotten the same gaurantee or sevice from another store. I guess paying extra for a higher quality product turned out to be worth it in the end. Purchased a new living room set from Matt's. Needed to order 1 piece, when it arrived all pieces delivered. Delivery team fantastic! After a few days had a problem with one of the pieces.
