The service was really slow in the bar even though they were pretty empty and it was a Wednesday evening, around 7pm. We were greeted and served water almost immediately so I thought we'd have great service. We waited a while for our server to come back and take our order. We ordered the GF peanut butter mousse, which to our surprise and delight was more like a pie or cheesecake. It was fantastic. We don't need to eat gluten free but it doesn't lack taste because of it. We also ordered the salted caramel cheesecake. It too was fantastic! We waited for the check...and waited...and waited. I had to drink my husband's water while I waited for our server because she didn't come check on us for refills, even though the bar is pretty open and it just takes a sec to look over where we were. We watched a couple walk out, presumably because they weren't served. We had to ask for the check (and more waters) promptly put a card in the folder and waited....and waited..and waited. There were 3 employees in the bar, including our server. None of them paid any attention that we were waiting for our check to be picked up. I finally walked up to the bar and asked our server to take the check because we were tired of waiting and the restaurant was cold too. Server was kind and friendly but made herself very unavailable (even though we could see her) and she was not proactive. After you are asked for a check, it is best to watch your table and see if they indicate they're ready. Rating is good because the food was really yummy.

UPDATED Review: 2nd Company Christmas party here, and Salmon was my choice for dinner again. I think the already perfect salmon, gone and went even better! Not a poor bite in it anywhere. It was a thick, perfectly cooked, salmon steak over rice with green beans on the side. Too bad they don't have one in Airway Heights so we would be able to enjoy a couple holiday drinks near home ORIGINAL Review: Great place. A little upscale but affordable for the most part. Went for company Christmas party and had a salmon dish with rice and green beans. Beans were awesome (but I love veggies) rice was, "just rice", salmon at 1st bite was a tad dry but unbeatable flavor. But after the 1st couple bites (where edges are thinner) it was perfectly cooked. Some sort of mini donut balls with dipping sauces and syrups arrived for desert that I'd thought were a version of Russian tea cakes, but, no, just a moist type of donut holes I guess. Sweet but pretty good (cant understand anyone needing to dip them into anything sweeter). Because the roads were a bit slick and traffic was bad getting there I only had 1 drink, a bloody mary, and it was great with a hint more tobasco than I expected, but, hit the spot.

Updated 3.23.24 Sat night, party of 4 at about 7pm. Made reservations but didn't look like it was needed. Ate here again, love their appetizers steak bites, and tacos! Also ha their sliders which were good. The Truffle pasta also delicious. Service was on point tonight. This was my 3rd time trying this place. This particular time was a party of 4 at about 6pm and there was a 30min wait. They have 3 areas to dine, one is the bar, second is their restaurant and their third is this large hall kind of area off to the side through double doors. NO NOT sit in that area if u actually want to hear conversation at your table. The first two times I ate there we sat in each of the other areas and it was great but that hall should only be used for large parties. Intimate smaller parties can't enjoy themselves when all conversation echos off of those walls and ceiling. We asked to be sat some place else and were willing to wait for the next table to come available but we were told we would have to wait another 30 min so we declined. I personally don't think that was good service. However, our waiter and the food was amazing like always.

We came in to twigs tonight with family, and unfortunately it was one of the worst experiences we had. As someone who works in customer service, I understand food being late and complications occurring, but even when those things arise I feel customer service should be top priority and keeping your customers in the loop should be in order. We arrived at 5:30 and we didn’t receive our appetizers for an hour and then waited for about another 45 minutes for our entrees. All food arrived cold and with skins formed over sauces/hummus showing the food had sat for quite awhile. One of our family members was informed just a few moments before our food came out that her main side of her dish wasn’t available. One of our entrees didn’t arrive for another 20 minutes, we received the dish and it was piping hot, my guess is the dish was forgotten when putting in the order and they had to whip it out quickly. This is all of course irritating but the part that made it worse was our waitress seemed to not care, did not have an explanation for us at any point in the night, would make eye contact with us when we would try to gain her attention to ask a question or drink refill and completely ignore us, really had nothing to say to us the entire night but put our order in and was generally unfriendly. I understand if you’re having a bad night, I know that industry can be stressful, but even a "hey guys we are having some problems in the kitchen im so sorry I’ll keep you updated on when it’s coming." I’m only giving a 2 star because 1) they at the least gave us 50% off the meal and 2) the girl (I wish I would have got her name, shorter girl with short brown hair) who brought our appetizers was the nicest girl there, even while she was stressed out, she kept a smile on and was incredibly sweet and I made sure to tell her so and gave her a hug. People who can rise above the stress and still keep customer service their priority are the people that should be in the industry. Sadly we won’t be back, maybe a check in on your training of how people should be treating customers in that kind of situation...

This has been a very good restaurant in the past. The food is still very good, albeit quite pricey. I do not know what the difficulty was tonight, and part of my concern may have been my fault. I made a reservation for 5:00PM and asked for a pond-side table (outside seating). When we arrived at 4:45PM, my wife opted for inside seating. When she did, I asked for a nice table near the window. The hostess said that all of the near-window tables were for large parties, and having eaten at this restaurant before, she was accurate in her response. She then seated us at a small table for two, one seat facing the bar, the other facing outside with a window view. We waited for 15 minutes before a waitress first checked in at our table (we were 15 minutes early). The wine and appetizers were delivered fairly quickly, but we waited another 20 minutes before the waitress took our order for our meal. We waited another 30+ minutes for our dinner to be served. Look... the food was pretty good, but the service was terribly slow. The waitress was polite, but never offered to apologize for the slow service. It was an hour and 50 minutes from arrival to when we left. I have waited for my meal plenty of times, but if a restaurant is going to charge premium prices for good food, the service better match. Also, I do not appreciate being seated in a cramped table for two, when there were six larger tables directly in our vicinity that remained open through our stay! Why can't restaurant managers figure out that the people who come early (with reservations) should be treated better than people who are not even at the restaurant? First come, first-served? Not eating here again. I can get really good food and really good service at plenty of other venues for half the...

My husband, mother and I had dinner at Twigs Saturday September 7. We sat out side by the water, a nice setting. We started by sharing an appetizer of the tapenade and humus plate with vegetables. For dinner my husband and mom had the fish and chips. I had the BISTRO STEAK SALAD...this I am assuming is where things went wrong. After dinner we drove my mom home about 35 min, hang out for a bit AND THEN THE STOMACH CRAMPING BEGAN. With in the hour I was vomiting had diarrhea and cold sweats. If you understand FOOD POISONING this is it. Time frame and symptoms. When I was finally able to safely make the half hour trip home we called the restaurant to notify them in case others were affected. Taylor took the call and said the manager would call in the morning to check on me. Next day we heard nothing. I spent the day recuperating. I did not go to the hospital as I knew what was happening and the symptoms eased as the day went on. In the evening my husband called back and asked to speak with manager Cynthia. Upon explaining the situation her response was “oh I’m sorry to hear that she must have had an allergic reaction, that salad has a lot of allergens “ I don’t know about you but vomiting and an instant flushing of my bowels has never been any allergic reaction I have heard of. I understand these things can happen and a simple “we are so sorry, thank you for letting us know and we will take every precaution to prevent this again” would have sufficed. But the condescending denial of any problem was just plain irritating. So my husband pushed for a meal reimbursement ($102.08) Cynthia said she would put it before the Corporate Office and let us know. Not surprisingly we have...
