Kroger — Local services in Spring Hill

Today Donna Ryan and Fred Shipe made my day by helping me to shop all my items in no time, because I had to go back quickly to my husband who had a triple bypass open heart surgery .Thank you Kroger your employees are great and always ready to help . Yesterday 12/1/2022, Matthew gave me his precious time to send money to my granddaughter in Paris via western union. He did his best to help me, he is so smart,so respectful, so professional like his colleagues who are always smiling and ready to help the customers. Thank you Kroger for hiring wonderful people ❤️

Today is the 14th of March. I'm really happy to say that at kroger I feel like home, everybody is so nice, employees and even the customers. Thank you, Mauricio, for your help today.

At Kroger Spring Hill, I always get the help I need. Today, 14th of August 2023, Kristy, who works at the bakery, made my day by helping me buy the chocolate brownies I need after I told her that I can't find them and they are my stepson favorite sweets. Thank you Kristy you and your colleagues make me feel that Kroger is not only my favorite place to shop but my family, too.

It's 20th August 2023 I tried today Murray's aged English Cheddar cheese 🧀, I bought it from Kroger-Port Royal-Spring Hill TN, it's the best cheese I've ever had in the United States of America 🇺🇸 💖⚘️

I’m going to start by saying I love/hate this Kroger. I love it because it is really close to my house and ,outside of pandemic conditions, is open 24hrs so they are great in a minor emergency. The staff is great. They are all very pleasant and never seem put out when someone needs help or asks a questions. They are very quick to make a customer happy. I hate this place because, even before the pandemic, there is a serious stocking problem. They are constantly out of a lot of items I buy frequently. Even staple items can be bare or with limited selection. The click list service is below average. The people that deliver the order to your car are nice, but I have never had an order that was completely correct. Substitutions are not equal and the produce picked is not always the best. I’ve even had expired items and missing items. Nothing is more frustrating that having to go the store twice for an item they said they included. I will keep going because it is convenient. But, I never expect them to have everything on my list, and I’m not using the click list. Delivery is amazing however! It is through a 3rd party (instacart). It was like having my own personal shopping texting me through the whole process. She texted me when she needed a substitution approval and even sent pictures so I knew it would work for what I needed! My shopper agreed that this Kroger is the worst on stocking items. Overall, I agree with those who find this store in need of cleaning and upkeep. But far more disturbing is the fact that the fish and seafood department sells fish beyond the expiration date!!! That is totally disgusting and I believe illegal due to safety concerns. I was there on 11/26/16 and there were 2 packaged items dated 11/24/16 in the counter with a "whoo" markdown. They should have been in the garbage and marked down a day or two before the expiration -- as other Kroger stores do. In addition, I pointed out to the man behind the counter that one of the packages had a hole poked in it (about 1" square). He took the package and added more shrink wrap to cover it!! How sad. After the package upgraded he started to walk toward the counter to put it back! Immediately, I told him that I thought it was totally disgusting that he would put it out again after the fish sat out exposed to germs and bacteria. He said, "oh, I was going to put it in the garbage". Sure -- like I believe that, especially after he double wrapped it and headed to the counter which was the opposite direction of the garbage!! In summary, I would only go to this store in a desperate moment and definitely never recommend a store with sketchy food practices that could be a consumer risk. Shame on you Krogers on Port Royal ... remember Harris Teeters in Brentwood that sold...
