China 1 Restaurant — Restaurant in Spring Hill

I didn't have high expectations for the food based on other reviews, but figured it would be the quality of standard fast food. It was less than I expected. We ordered: Vegetable lo mein Vegetable fried rice Mongolian beef Wonton egg drop soup

Pros: If you want A LOT of food. This is the place. Very generous portions.

About the food: Wonton egg drop soup was like eating oil and over the top egg. It was very thick and the flavor was non existent. The wontons were thick and gooey. We threw this out.

Vegetable fried rice lacked flavor. The rice is yellow and definitely not like the normal brownish fried rice you get in most restaurants. It's not worth saving for leftovers.

Mongolian beef is normally a favorite of my husbands. He said it was plain. It was like eating unseasoned meat. The meat was also very thick, not like the usual thinly sliced standard. Again, not worth saving for leftovers.

Vegetable lo mein was okay. This was similar to what most fast food Chinese restaurants serve. Lacked flavor but good enough to eat the rest for leftovers.

If you prefer bland food, you may love this place. We prefer to have flavor that pops. I also think it's expensive for fast food. However, the portions are generous so it makes sense.

I wanted to like this place because it's close. However, I prefer to spend 52.00 on a pick-up order...

Rude and stingy owner! He used to have a nice girl working there but he's too cheap to hire help and he has no social skills for the restaurant business. The food is good but better at Sunny China. Today I picked up an order for a Door Dash customer. It was ready but when I took the bag over to help myself to soy sauce, etc...the owner literally yelled at me "Just take two"!!! I told him I also eat there and should be able to take as many as I need. I left but walked in and told him You Just lost my business!! I also told my customer to order from Panda Express or elsewhere...and how a few years ago I got super sick after eating there...I vomited 3 times... and I know it was food poisoning. But rude and penny pinching customer service from an owner is enough. I'm done China...

My husband and I usually come here on the regular! Well this time I am highly disappointed and we won't be back! We order here early yesterday to have something to eat then and take to work later! I ordered egg drop soup and combo fried rice. I ate from my plate around lunch time then brought the rest to work tonight. I decided to save time and mix my soup and rice, begin I'm a nurse and have a short lunch. As I'm eating, I thought I notice a hair in my food and scooped it up with my spoon and notied it was a bug! This makes me so sick to think I was already eating when I noticed it and ate some of the rice from the bowl around noon! Completely lost my...
