Don't go there!!!!!! The room was clean enough, but it wasn't the room we booked. We were traveling wit 3 kids (5,6 & 8 years old) and we specificaly booked a "deluxe suite wit 2 queen-size beds". When we arrived we got a room with 1 double bed and a sofa bed. There was no way our kids would fit in that sofa bed, nor were we. When we went to the front desk to ask for the room we initially booked, we simply got the answer; "sorry, we don't have one anymore"!...Then what's the point of choosing a room while booking if you just get the leftovers when arriving!. The guy at the desk offered us an extra bed...for no charge...Wow...The only problem we foresaw was that this extra bed would't' fit in the room....the guy at the desk assured us it did....Wel, it did...but then no-one could go to the bathroom without climbing over beds. Is this "Deluxe"? Is this wat we payed for? (a refund of any kind was never a possibility apparently). So what happened? We Stored the extra bed in a corner of the room, folded, and put the cusion of the window seat on the floor as an extra 'small' bed. We had to move the sofa bed in order to make that very tiny cushion fit in the room....and so one of the kids had to spend the night on the floor. But that was not all. Due to last minute travel-changes, we booked an extra night in this hotel, and we choose (of coourse) the same room-type. This was also a problem. Although we were te same family, the same credit-card etc. we had to check out and check back in for the second night! We were told: "please don't forget, otherwise it's a big problem"....huh... The final thing that made us very angry was a telephone call we got the second night. While making everything ready to put our kids to bed (this meant moving the sofa bed, placing the cushion on the floor, making op that "bed", the front desk called us to tell us there were complaints about the noise we made! EXCUSE ME! We can't adjust a room, move furniture and replace some of our bags without making any noise!!!!!!!!!!! And secondly, this was before nine o'clock! Please!!!!!!!! Pathetic! We were glad we could get away from this all the next day...but not after the lady at the desk told us we actually had an 'upgrade' from the 'deluxe suite' because we had a 'kitchen'....Well, sweet, but I can't put my kid to sleep in the sink! We've stayed in Microtel before, but after this experience we'll look elsewhere. I have to select at least 1 star to get this review posted, but we would not give this hotel (the service) any stars if we could...

The hotel and the rooms are very nice. The staff and policies - not so much. They charged me a safe fee! I didn't use a safe, never asked for the safe. They are in every room and the charge would appear nightly, at around 3am, A $4 charge would appear on my card. Didn't notice it at first. They charge a $50 deposit - and you may as well kiss that goodbye because they are going to keep it as a "cleaning fee". Part of paying for a room is the cleaning fee. We were there for 3-nights and they accused us of smoking in the room. Never happened. I don't smoke and my girl always wend outside by the pool to smoke because I can't stand the smell. They said the head housekeeper went into our room immediately after we left and the room smelled like smoke and they found "weed" in the bathroom. Neither of us smoke "weed". I asked for pictures - if they are going to keep my deposit and accuse me of leaving weed in the bathroom, then they should have photo's. I do! I took pictures of the room when we left - including the bathroom... I take them also when I get to a room - always have. Anyway, just beware that they will keep your deposit and then you will have to dispute it to get it back. The deposit is just a way for the staff to make extra money from their guests. The hotel itself is nice though.

As a disabled vet in a wheelchair, the first issue was the desk was tall and the card reader was on a short leash and I could not see the screen to read what was on it. I was given a room on the second floor, so I say as an FYI to the young lady at the desk, what if there is a fire and after you kill the power to the elevator how do I get down a flight of stairs. She replied, we would help you down. I get to the room and check the bathroom access. Tub bench, Check. Grab Bars, Check. But the shower head wand was on a very short leash and just barely usable. You can see that this has been an issue for some time in the photos. Upon check out, I ask the young man what the two charges to my card for $1.60 each were for. He replied, for use of the safe. I say, I never touched the safe. His reply was, the safe charge was described in the info when you ran your card. Oh, the one I could not see. He then said he removed the charges. One was refunded but not the other. Really? A $1.60. Not worth the trouble to dispute, but this is bad business! User BEWARE! To wrap this up, the ADA was passed in 1990. 35 years ago. Yet there are still obstacles in our very basic day to day existence in this walking world.

This messege is for the coroporate office to contact us back. My family has taken the proper measures in contacting the BBB, as we are members ourselves. We will contact a lawyer if we need to, no hesitation. I would give this hotel 0 stars.

I stayed from 2/18- 2/23/2024 in room 124. I was in town visting my family which I do 1-2xs per year due to my medical needs. I tried this location as it is closer to family. Wow, what a mistake. I had so many issues with the end of my stay. The 1st room they gave me, has a mildew/mold smell & doggy smell (which I am allergic to, & got sick). I get 7 allergy shots per month due to this. We went early in the day to switch rooms. The check out date was booked wrong. I specifically said check out is on Sat, which I had witnesses around me that heard it. I cant help that it was booked wrong. The maids literally targeted, & stalked my room, & watching us leave for days, like they were going to steal something in our room. That day, our do not disturb sign was stuck in between the floor with a house keeping note. Thanks but not intrested. I had 2 medical machines over $4k in the room due to my medical needs. Fri morning comes, & they literally told us "get out or else we will pack your stuff up, & move it out of the room". We were 1 hour away, & told them.we will be there in 1 hour, & left our lunch. We had the do not disturb sign up purposely. It was just the over all how they treated us, that was very degrading, the threats, the disrespect. Fri night came, & all the hotel were booked. We contacted the customer care number that was provided, & they were no help. We ended up sleeping in our car Fri night, & Sat night. I have more to say, but this was my expirence. An employee actually told me that they steal the fruit from the breakfast bar. They had no fuit due to employees stealing it. I was pretty mad considering I have Celiac, & the fruit, yogurt, & milk was my only options for breakfast. They do NOT accomodate you, even when I called back.

Anyone reading this, please save yourself, & get an Air B&B, or seek another hotel & pay more, or stay with friends. I have never had this unacceptable treatment from a...

They are only getting one star because it was clean. However, I did not feel welcome or like I was on vacation at all. Most of the staff appeared friendly, however there was one worker..I believe her name was Christine...she ruined the whole vacation for me. Her attitude and disrespect toward her employees was what really pushed me to give only one star. I seen her in the hallway on the floor where my room was and I asked if she could please get me some extra towels, she rolled her eyes at me and said yea someone will bring it and then mumbled something under her breath. I figured maybe she was having a bad day, but then twenty minutes had passed and I still didn't get my towels. I called downstairs to the front desk and they told me they would send someone. Another ten minutes past....still no towels. I decided to take it upon myself to find someone who could get me some, so I started walking through the halls, and downstairs in hope to find someone that would give me some. Well... I guess Christine isn't just rude to her paying guests but ALSO TO THE EMPLOYEES. The way she speaks to the other women in housekeeping is just not at all okay. No one wants to see other workers being disrespected, because personally I have worked for companies in the past and they have treated me terribly and I hate to see someone else going through it knowing how I felt. She demands, and orders them around as if they are slaves.... they are workers trying to make a living just like all of us. Anyways, after seeing this I waited for Christine to leave and two women named Annamarie and Lisa who were just spoke to like dogs, turned around and right away asked me if there was anything they could help me with. I asked for towels and was handed towels immediately and even the next day was given extra towels in my room!!!! Christine should not be in charge if she can't respectfully talk to guests, but also her employees. Someone needs to do something about that because like I said when I go on vacation I want to feel welcome and Christine didn't give me that vibe at all. I wonder if all management...
