Pookie, the receptionist, was extremely rude!! Right from the moment my sister and I entered the spa, she had a snarky and cold attitude. I noticed other reviewers on Google mentioned her as being very rude to them in the past as well. It seems like a common trend, so it’s a shame she is still allowed to work there.

I came from overseas to get my first massage back in the states after a military assignment. I was super excited to receive the massage but Pookie did not make me feel welcomed at all so it ruined my entire spa experience.

Without a proper greeting, Pookie asked me about my past appointments and was obviously aggravated and confused about what I wanted. She accused me of canceling short notice on services even though the Vagaro booking app won’t allow cancellations within 24hrs of the appointment or you would have to call. She also said she called to confirm my appointment but I never received a call from her after searching through my phone. So I was not sure what she was talking about since I had already confirmed bookings in place.

Pookie coldly and rudely asked me, “I see all these service cancellations, so what is it that you want then?!” Which should have been clear to her since I had confirmed bookings on Vagaro. I was taken aback with how she asked me. Pookie was talking to me in an awfully harsh and demanding way.

I nicely clarified for her but she proceeded to lecture me about the late policy that I did not break and coldly told us to fill out the paperwork. At that point, my sister and I felt very disrespected. There was no reason for her to talk to us like that or act in that manner. Pookie was extremely unprofessional. She ruined our day, which was supposed to be nice and relaxing.

We decided not to receive the massages because of Pookie’s disrespectful actions and behavior. We told her we wanted to speak to the manager and she said he was not present. We had to ask several times for the manager’s contact information before she finally gave it to us after relentlessly arguing with me. We left the spa and I called the phone number provided which went straight to voicemail. I’m not sure if she gave me the right number.

I would not recommend this spa because of Pookie. I believe that a good spa experience starts with the front desk. She was truly a disappointment and a poor representative of the business. I recommend that she should be fired in order to save the...

I wish I could leave a better review but after coming here a few times in search of an amazing massage , it has not happened. The first massage I had here was great but when I asked who was the therapist they didn't have it saved on file when I returned. I've had a couple decent therapist and some not great at all....it seems that the Art of Massage has been forgotten. There is a flow and warming up that I believe should be done with every massage and when people just start stepping on you and hurting you and finding knots and sharply sticking their fingers into it instead of properly massaging it away... I believe that there is a problem. A massage therapist should be calm and things should be done in an order to flow...when the therapist is hurried, I can feel that and that does not promote relaxation. On the last chance that I gave this place I requested a specific masseuse when I called and I let them know I wanted my husband to also get a good masseuse since we were giving this place another chance. We booked the full Luxury Spa experience with a 90-minute massage, a facial and a scrub...it was ok, some parts were hurried, some parts painful, and some parts just left so much more that could have been done... but like I said it's like The Art of Massage is gone.

When we got done with the massage I expressed my concern at the desk about us not getting the request of therapist that we had asked for 3 weeks ago when I made the reservation and the lady at the desk proceeds to argue with me and raise her voice. I had to ask her to let me speak the concern that I have because I am the paying customer.. I expressed my concern that I did not appreciate them switching the massage therapist when when we had made specific requests with reservations based on specific concerns. The lady at the desk was very defensive and continued to argue and never apologized for them switching things. Regardless of the circumstances we still tipped the massage therapist well because we always have and paid full price for this mediocre massage. Honestly, I feel like it was a waste of $650 and I need a real massage to fix my massage that I received here. So just a warning to others to be very selective with your massage therapist if you do go.. but from now on this place has lost me and my husband as customers and we will definitely not be recommending anybody this ...
