Here is how my office visit went down.
Arrived and filled out their paperwork. One page asked all the usual medical questions.
Office worker called me into a room. Asked me all the same questions that were on the form I just filled out. Took my contact lenses out - We ran some tests. I told her I was there to get new contact lenses - and find out what my other options were.
Assistant says follow me - takes off - I can't see where she's going. I stand there waiting - she comes back and says Sorry I forgot you can't see. I am in an eye doctors office - right?
I go into another room and run through the eye chart - lens tests. Then they dilate my pupils. I sit in the waiting area -not too long. Go back into other room - Dr runs more tests. Then they bring me back into the first room for another test. I am sitting there about to take the test - and one of the workers says "Eye surgery will cost $X - when do you want to schedule it?" I said - I have no idea what you're talking about - I came here for contact lenses. I am sitting here half blind and you want me to sign up for eye surgery? She says - ok then you don't need to take this test.
I follow her into the main room - someone else comes up to me with pamphlets about the eye surgery. I tell them again - I can't see anything. I then said - wouldn't it be better if we finish my eye exam before we talk about surgery options? They said - oh - you are done with your exam. Can I put my contacts back in?
The doctor came out and explained everything to me. I paid and left. They called me the next day and said they ordered my contact lenses for $150 per lens. No Way ! I ended up buying them online for about $80 total.
I just went to a follow up appointment today - and they told me I have to come back in a week because the doctor that does contact lenses only comes in once a month ?!? This is the worst office I have been to. Don't waste your time...
Read moreI had an amazing experience here, i took my father in law for an his cataract surgery and we got there 30 minutes before our appointment was scheduled, they took us in and we didn't have to wait at all. We were greeted by Alvi, she was very kind and answered all our questions. She took my father in law to take his exam and she was very gentle with him and had a lot of patience with. Brittany also helped us with checking out and accommodate us to our follow up and had patience with us throughout the whole time. Dr Malitz and his team were all amazing....
Read moreTook my wife to a 1030 appointment. She filled out the paper work and began to wait and wait and wait and wait. We ended up leaving at 1203 (not making up the wait time). There were still people ahead of her that not been seen yet. She told the receptionist she had been waiting an hour and a half. And her response was the Dr is running behind. Bad experience, so look elsewhere! Maybe somewhere more friendly and an office that keeps appointment times a little better. And the waiting area could use an air...
