I am not usually one to post a negative review, however I am very frustrated with this situation. My husband took a sample piece that I had picked out from another source of LVP to Carpet Weaver's to see if we could find a match. The sales person that assisted him was very nice, and did find a color match to my sample piece. We purchased $4K worth of LVP. When the material arrived it was much lower quality than the sample piece my husband had taken in with regards to the thickness... and would not stay locked. I called to return the flooring and basically was told that in order to return, a rep from the product company had to come out and take a look at our floor to ensure it was level. There was nothing on our receipt of purchase stating the flooring was not returnable. Even when I explained that I was unhappy with the quality of the floor as soon as we started the process to install it, and I simply want to return it...I did not get a "yes". I am now waiting on the rep to visit...which is a moot point, I do not want the flooring. I will be looking into what my legal options are about this and as it stands right now, I would not recommend Carpet Weavers for your flooring needs. 09-03-21 - UPDATE - We have spoken with Stacey the manager and she agreed to let us bring back the UN - OPENED boxes. I have a few issues with this. First, is that we had opened 12 of the boxes in preparation for being able to provide my husband a continued feed as he laid the floor ( we have installed flooring many times ) before we realized it was not the quality of flooring we expected. Now we are stuck with 12 boxes ( about $1500.00) of flooring we can not use. Second, the rest of the boxes being returned...I am told we will be charged a 20% restocking fee!!! Nowhere on our receipt does it state there would be any sort of restocking fee to return. So by the end of this saga, I am out almost $2000.00 and STILL do not have flooring in my basement. No one ever thinks they will need to return a purchase such as flooring - but I prefer to work with a company I can count on to work with me in the off chance that I do. 10-01-21 UPDATE - We received a text from Will today asking if we were interested in selling them back the remaining flooring that they would not allow us to return. We still have over 300 Square foot of flooring at $3.68 per SQ FT. purchase price = $1104.00 worth of flooring. We responded that yes we certainly would be interested in selling it back. Will responded back that he would be willing to purchase it all for $300.00!!!! This is just an insult! So basically you want to pay $1.00 per SQ FT. to us and then mark it back up to original price of $3.68 and resell the same flooring a second time!! Unbelievable. By the way, we now have a beautiful stained concrete floor in...
Read moreWe had a terrible experience with Carpet Weaver. They weren't our choice from the beginning and were forced to us by our builder. We did our wood flooring, tile flooring and wood stairs with them and in all three area we had several problems. Problems happen during jobs but their customer service and after care is what disappointed us. As soon as the project was done it was almost impossible to find them to repair the problems they caused and promised to fix. They ordered wrong tiles and told us they will order right ones and replace them for free and they did not do that. Our wood stairs had several broken pieces and it took me almost a year to bring them back to fix it. And we still have bathrooms that are missing grout between tiles since they forgot to put grout between tiles! after 2 years of communications I gave up today and decided to write this review so other people avoid making the same mistake. They simply told us several times that they will come and fix the issues but they didn't and at some point stopped answering our emails and...
Read moreI am so pleased with my new kitchen floor. Both it and the team who worked with me are wonderful. From Janet, the designer who found the perfect color and material, Terry who over saw the project as well as leveling the floor in preparation for installation, to David and Josh who installed the floor were all professional, personable, and totally devoted to as perfect a job as possible in a hundred- year- old house. In addition, they are just plain nice people. Springfield, Conestoga can be very proud of this team. They did an excellent job. Carole Kennerly,...
