We came here due to our appt at the Lost boys in Hollister, Mo decided not to take us in due to being late. I called in in advance & let them know, they gave us 10 min to get there, and when we arrived they still turned us away. We lived 45 min away, so it was bummer. We called Springfield when googling other barbers in the area, & I loved the look, and the review ratings and length of experience at Hudson & Hawk Barber shop. Called them up and they booked us in an hour. So because we were halfway there, we drove another 45 min. Worth the drive. It was very important to me, for my son to get the treatment he deserved. He had long hair & bc it was at the length to donate for cancer kids, he was ready for the transformation. This place gave such a gentlemen’s vibe, it reminded me of the experience we had in Montana. We had Mia and she was wonderful. I let her know what we were doing and the inspiration we were going with. I asked permission bc I did like to video and take pictures to post on our insta (thechapmans72317) & she was totally down. When explaining to the gentleman who we booked at lost boys, gave me this spill about how the length of my sons hair was just going to take too long etc and went on about something else. I saw a kid at his chair, he took a walk in, and made it a big deal about his long hair. I get it- just say that. It clearly wasn’t a problem with Mia, and she was even willing to do the most for him. This experience wants me to continue to come back here and continue doing business. Mia educated me on the pomade they used and the difference of pomade (company: first hand supply) and how to sleek down my sons hair. I have been to the Campbell location twice now. The first time was rather pleasant and I walked away with a decent cut from Stephanie. The second time, however, was absolutely terrible.

I booked an appointment online with Erik. I arrived to my appointment and was seated for my haircut on time. I showed Erik a picture of the short haircut I was looking for and asked him to cut it as short as possible on the sides and back. I didn't think "as short as possible" left much to interpretation and expected a no-guard shave. With my back to the mirror the entire time, I couldn't really tell how much progress was being made. When he finally spun me around, I was met with disappointment. The back and sides were still much longer than I wanted, and the only part he cut on the top was the front. The top middle and top back of my hair was the same length as when I had walked in. I told him I wanted it to be much shorter and I was met with his response of "Well, I don't have time to fix it." I was speechless at that point as I have never been talked to like that from an establishment that seemingly prides itself on it's customer relations. I didn't feel like contesting this remark and simply paid my bill and left.

Erik's closing remarks hit me as rather ironic: "Hey man, next time I'll get it cut shorter for you." I don't think there will be...

I got the pleasure of getting a zero fade by Chris and it was one the best barber experience I've ever received. I was in desperate need of a haircut and didn't want to wait until I got home, so I walked into the downtown location. They didn't have any openings and sent me to this location.

Man... Chris brought me back to LIFE! I was growing out my hair on the top and decided it was time for a change. I told him what I wanted and I got EXACTLY what I wanted.

It's a bit sketchy when I go to a new barber and I'm very picky about my haircuts. I'm so glad I came here. The price was so worth it for the full experience.

I had my hair shampooed and washed after the cut as well. When the cut was done and over with I got a quick little massage which was SO unexpected. I was actually really impressed by the experience.

I wish I would've bought some of the hair clay/pomade Chris used in my hair because I really like it. I haven't used any product in my hair for a 1.5-2 years to style my slickback, but I really enjoyed the product he had.

I'll be coming back if I'm in the area again. 10/10 experience and Chris was very personable and an awesome barber. The rest of the employees there were...
