Jamaican BBQ Jerk chicken with shrimp Alfredo and rice, along with a plantain! Absolutely beautiful food and it tastes as good as it looks. Perfectly tender and flavorful chicken, I knew I'd be full after eating, (very rare for me) very generous portion for the price which is also amazing! I couldn't help myself, I grabbed a patty on my way out so I could have more food for after work, didn't spend any more than 20 bucks. Insanely good value for the quality and care they put into their food. If you want to get the lunch special I just got, go down there and try it! You'll keep coming back. They also have a grocery section, so you can spice up our dishes at home with imported ingredients! I hardly drink soda anymore, but the Jamaican cream soda 2 litres they carry are absolutely phenomenal. If you want a sweet vegan option they also have plantain tart patties. I can't could keep going. It's hard not to go every day as I live very close to their Campbell location. I've tried just about everything except the ox tail but that's on my list!! Go see for yourself! It's in my top 3 local Springfield restaurants EASY. Especially if I'm in a rush, I can usually grab a patty and get on with my day! Better than fast food in my opinion, and far more filling. They are all friendly and lovely people. if you're looking for something new, or not sure if you'd like it, GO EAT THERE!!! First of all, let me say that I'm hella pissed! The very nice and polite man behind the counter with the beautiful accent lied to me! He told me that the BBQ jerk chicken was good. Again, it was a total lie, because it wasn't good, at all! It was absolutely amazing! The chicken was great (gave us legs, a wing, and a breast or thigh)! The rice was great, and the cabbage / vegetables was amazing...never had cabbage with cucumbers...changed my life!! It was crunchy, savory, and simply delicious! I have to be careful and not give them all of my money, so I'm limiting myself to two trips a month. They're very close to my home, so I must be careful! They know exactly what they're doing. Good food and great service equals a very happy customer! I'm going to try the other location in downtown Springfield, because I was told that they have more options. Either way, they just gained 2 customers ( my daughter and me) that they won't be able to get rid of. Definitely my favorite restaurant thus far. I can't wait to try more! We tried the downtown location which was a very nice smaller building, very clean. We were the only people there and they had no food to try other than a couple of the patties which were pre made and sitting in a warmer behind the counter. They were good, I think I liked the curry the best. I suppose the pattys are worth 5 stars because how much better could a patty get. It's home food like flaky pie crust with a dollop of meat sauce inside. I guess I was disappointed there was nothing else to eat on this day but we might try again soon. I am a little confused as the menu board price confusing didnt match what was charged, not a big deal but worth pointing out. The one thing I didn't like was the food was served in a paper french fry container and it kept falling over causing my food to lay onto the table. I guess the food truck is where they make the bulk of the food so you may want to locate the truck to try the food? , maybe I was expecting a restaurant... anyway I gave the best review I can since there wasn't much to review. we enjoyed...
