On January 31,2024 I went thru the KFC on 2407 E Main Street in Springfield, Ohio 45503. My order of chicken strips along with other items I ordered were going to have a 5 minute wait time so, I pulled into the area as directed to wait for my order. After 25 minutes I call into the restaurant to ask about the status of my order and the manager giggling like it was funny asked " which order was mine, and as I named the items she tells me that " she will have it ready in minutes?" I waited out as I was a 30 minute drive from home and still had a family to provide a dinner for. When the person that took my order appeared at my car window his explanation was that "the order got handed to someone and they just didn't do anything? " Once home a (30 minute drive) I find the order is not as I ordered it and lacked even the basic care. The mashed potato bowl did not even reach the half of the bowl with 4 very salty small pieces of chicken, and I had requested extra of the ingredients. The chicken in the chicken strips meals maybe measured 2 1/2" in length. I ordered two chicken littles less the pickles but, I got pickles. My bill was $35, and some change I rounded up on my bill spending $36.00 to help a needy organization? I called the store spoke again with the manager (would not give me her name) and I explained my dissatisfaction with the food and the service explained that they spent roughly 30+ to mess up my order. Why should or would anyone have to go through this? She offered to remake the order, and I explained that I am at least a 30 minute drive, and I could not afford to use fuel so that they could correct their mistake. ;I felt with the 2nd issue it merited reimbursement. Even if I could afford the gas and had the time why would or should I? I waited and waited for that order because, no one working there found it important enough to do their job or to do their work correctly. I've called the corporate office for KFC 3 times, and each time I've connected to call center in another country. Each have secured me that management would be in touch. I just want my money back because, those working have lied, cheated and disrespected as a consumer with human decency!
Don't eat there because, God only knows how they're handling the food!. I can honestly say that "this was/is the worst dining experience of my life. The corporate office does not care how that location is doing their business. Will my donation even go to the people it is...
Read moreI went through the drive thru and waited about 10 minutes for someone to take my order , the lady just kept saying “take your time and look at the menu” when I finally got my order it was all wrong . From everything to the type of chicken to the sauce that I ordered . So of course I called to tell them what happened , the manager told me she would remake the whole order . I asked if she wanted me to bring the food back and she said no . When we got there to pick our new order , there was ONE lady running the front count and bagging all the orders . I felt bad so I remained patient , when I told her I called the manager she went back to talk to her & she came back & said “did you bring the food ? If not she can’t replace it” of course then I was irritated because I asked if she wanted us to , so I said no she told us not to and if she is saying otherwise I would like to talk to her . The manager never once approached & no one apologized for the wait or how we were treated . When they were remaking the food I could see the manager throwing a fit and she actually BANGED HER FISTS on the back counter . The service was poor and utterly disrespectful . Read moreNormally my experience here is overall good. However, my experience 2.2.19 in the evening hours was far from that. I ordered the 20$ fill up in extra crispy, and substituted my wings for breasts. When I got to the window they asked if I wanted my breast in original. I said no, and the employee did gave me a weird look and did not offer a wait time. Neither did the manager who was standing there as well. I asked how long it would be. She told me 12 minutes. I said no problem and pulled up to wait. I ordered at 8:17pm and was going to go in when I noticed my clock said 8:37pm. As I was getting ready to go in the employee came out with my food. She apologized for the wait but did not offer anything for my extended wait. Figuring I waited long enough for a whole batch of chicken to cook, mine should be ALL fresh. When I got home I realized most was old and had a couple super greasy fresh chicken. Then I realized half my bucket was wings! Horrible management/customer service because ultimately there responsibility. If you make a customer wait, please make sure all there food is fresh and correct!! Will not be going back to this KFC...
