Our Family went with a friend on a Friday morning, thinking it would be less crowded. We hadn't thought about school field trips, but the children were having so much fun it was a pleasure to see‼️ The space and activities were well thought out. The portable hand washing station was a nice , considerate touch. Corn mazes that an adult can view the whole thing =no lost or scared littles. Cute photo-ops everywhere, a small Zoo, pick your own pumpkin, or thousands of already picked pumpkins, of all varieties & colors to purchase. The only drawback I saw was, because they are a Seasonal Business, so, they have Seasonal workers. The older Gentleman at the front entrance was nice, and he did the best he could to account & get payment for a few bus loads of small children. We were next in line. A lady came up to him and in front of everyone sharply reprimanded him for a few different things(which he had handled correctly AND with a courteous , welcoming attitude). He simply smiled at her and said , thank you, it's all under control. The other workers I saw were mostly 30-50 year old woman. They looked rough & hard. They seemed more interested in gossiping about locals, other co-workers, and complaining about their work schedules. Come on Ladies, paste on a smile😀 It's been a beautiful fall here in Utah Valley, your facility is everything a young child dreams of, a few things to keep all age ranges Happy & Interested. You get the privilege of every day ,watching hundreds, if not thousands of people (especially the littles), enjoying the season, making special memories, enjoying your FUN facility‼️ Buck up, rethink your attitude, and just...enjoy....each...Day❣️ I would definitely go back next year. Jakers is easy to find, easy access, and for an adult on a Friday morning, $2.00 . DEAL for the enjoyment it provides...
Read moreI’ve been coming here for years, but I’ve never been yelled at and physically grabbed by the old man who drives the tractor ride, until today. I was calmly walking towards the back trailer with my little daughter, to get away from the crowd waiting to load the first trailer. Efficiency, ya know? I was in the front of the line, and the group waiting to ride was very small. I heard a loud voice behind me, shouting “HEY!” 3 times, but I was sure it wasn’t directed at me. Then I felt a hand grab my arm and roughly turn me around. He started yelling at me about “rushing the trailer” and “waiting my turn.” Lots of big gestures at me. I removed his hand from my arm and told him it was inappropriate to touch me and yell at me. Two separate groups of women came up to me during the interaction to see if I needed help, and ask if I was okay. I stayed calm, but they were concerned to see a man shout and grab a young mom. Very unfortunate interaction. I tried to tell him I wasn’t cutting the line, but of course i was interrupted. The women told him to leave me alone, and of course he starts defending himself. I walked away and so did he. After the tractor ride, I walked past him. He made no effort to apologize or acknowledge me. I guess he was too busy being a guard dog for all the waiting customers. This man needs to be trained, or someone will end up pressing charges for assault. (As an FYI, their prices have gone from $3 per person, to $6...
Read moreReviewed in 2020: Jaker's is fun especially for little kids and very affordable. I give them two stars because on their website they say that masks are required and that they are limiting how many people enter. I only bought tickets because I thought that it would be a fun, safe activity to do. Even with Utah County's mask mandate I would say maybe 25% of people were wearing masks. People were sitting everywhere especially around the corn pit. The only place that everyone put masks on was on the hay ride. I think if the company had just made announcements or reminded people as they came in then more people would have complied. It is the companies responsibility to make sure they are following health mandates. I won't recommend that anyone goes while we are surging if they won't enforce the mandate. They were counting people as they came in but not as they were leaving (and people could stay as long as they wanted). So I'm not sure how they got an accurate count of how many people were there...
