I’m so thankful for UCCU, especially Jason (I think that was his name) and Shayra. I was purchasing my first car and had such a hard time finding someone who’d give my a loan. The car I bought is old and I don’t have much of a credit history, so I understand why it was so hard to give me the loan. At first, UCCU told me they couldn’t do it but I called back and was transferred to one of the loan managers, Jason. He was so kind and understanding, explaining everything about loans to me and how they worked. He said he’d look over my case again and call me back. Loan officer Selena was awesome. We were disappointed in underwriting staff. We're long time customers of Uccu and have had countless loans with them over the years but we were originally denied our heloc request and then received only 90k of the 100k we requested when our application was resubmitted to another underwriter. Making a six figure income, having virtually 0 debt and several hundred thousand equity in our home doesn't seem to have much value now days. Loan took several days longer than it should have. It feels like our loyalty and strong credit scores mean very little to uccu management Maybe it's time to see what other banking options...

One of the only places that will let you take out an auto loan for a rebuilt/branded title. My only complaint is that they did not enter my proof of insurance when it was presented to them in person. Months later I received a letter in the mail stating that I had no insurance on file with them and that I had to send proof of insurance or I would be billed an astronomical amount of money for full coverage insurance through UCCU. I was very confused because I showed them the paperwork in person back in August and requested my auto insurance agent send them the info that week as well. Clearly the ball was dropped not...
