I'm fairly certain that this review only applies when certain employees are or aren't on shift. That being said, 9 out of 10 times these guys are on point. They get you what you need no more no less and get ya on your way. 5 stars to those fellas they know who they are. Here in recent months however they seem to be having trouble with staffing. The employees I've talked to in times past, no matter the need, (a weird random part or just good advice,) have, for the most part, been very knowledgeable and even when unsure they were able to get me pointed in the right direction to find a solution. My latest trip was nothing better than a fiasco. I have to shoulder some of the blame myself because I had never tackled brake lines until this issue came up. I should have done better research beforehand because had I understood what I was biting off with this repair I would have realized it most assuredly calls for a shop with a lift to get the vehicle up into a place that is convenient to work from. Rather than crawling around in the snow underneath a Chevy Suburban. To make a very long story short, the guys who sold me the first set of lines I bought didn't know what they were talking about much better than I did. That became very obvious when the brake line was the correct size and all etc.. but the thread depth for the mounting nuts was different on either end... (Pre-flared lines with the nuts already on them so I wouldn't have to buy a flaring tool or so he said,) therefore the lines wouldn't even snug when screwed into the mounting holes.. I get to take those lines back today to see how well returning them is gonna go. Anyway, that said pick your day to go see these folks wisely. It could make or brake your project you're working on. Lol pun intended. UPDATE: New employees are getting the swing of things and they are improving daily!!...
Read moreWe went in on 6-11-17, the fellow that was trying to help us get an oil filter couldn't find it in the computer. So him and my husband preceed out to the car (I stayed in the store) my husband said all of a sudden this fellow just jumped in my area and takes it upon himself to open my glove box without asking my husband for whatever he needed. I asked about other things like interior lights that plugs into cigarette lighter. The 2 guys working looked at me like I had said a foreign word or something. I wouldn't go back unless it's during the week ,maybe someone then would have...
Read moreAfter noticing a weaker ignition startup on my truck, I went to the Advance Auto in Spruce Pine where I purchased battery to have it tested. Jonathan performed a diagnostic not only on the Die Hard Gold Series Battery but also my alternator. It was discovered the battery was below par. Jonathan offered a free replacement, removal of the old core and installment of a new battery of the same make and brand which I gladly agreed upon. It's very hard to find businesses that offer this kind of service. Well they got a lifelong...
