I get that people are âloyalâ to their auto mechanics and shops, and itâs smart to build a car âhistoryâ at shops like it helps to have a steady medical file with your annual exam history and all. And then sometimes you must change doctors to get the best care you can get.
People, make BLVDAutoworks your go-to for anything and everything you need to care for or repair your car. No matter what make, model, year â this is the gold standard of auto shops and crew and management. My family has received excellent and fairly priced service and repairs here for over 18 years, and there are customers there who have taken their familiesâ cars to BLVD for twice that time!
AND they provide courtesy cars if you need to have a car for the day while they work on your baby. I witnessed a guy from Wayzata bringing in his high-end sedan one morning for 2 reasons: excellent service on his vehicle, plus a means for him to get to his job that day! BLVD is located just 3 blocks past the Mpls City Limit (3 blocks past Stinson and Lowry). Miles away from Wayzata. Word gets out, you know. I only have to go a block, but the reasons are the same for the legions of us who trust this crew with whatever needs done. Honesty, integrity, goodwill, expertise, courtesy, efficiency, convenience â theyâll shoot straight with you. You can make appts online now, with text reminders or phone reminders.

Read moreWe brought our company vans to BLVD Autoworks for oil changes and repair. We received a high repair estimate and had the work completed but when we took the next van to them and had an even higher estimate we decided to get another opinion. I took the van to the dealership and paid to have them look it over and they instructed me there was nothing wrong with the front end. I talked with Wade about this and he said we will see wear on the tires after a month if we don't fix the issue. We let it go and we haven't seen any uneven wear on the tires or had any issues at all for the last 6 months since they told us we had to repair the entire front end. NOW since we are not taking our vehicles there to get worked on the owner Tom Archambault told us they don't want to do our general maintenance anymore either because they don't make enough on the oil changes. I believe they got caught fabricating work that needed to be done and knew they were going to be scrutinized on future jobs. They only want to do work on vehicles for customers that aren't intelligent enough to know when they are getting taken advantage of. STAY AWAY from Wade, Tom, and BLVD Autoworks unless you want to pay a higher price for service that doesn't...
Read moreFirst, I'd been a customer for several years and had been quite satisfied. Maybe the pandemic brought business so low that their integrity and ethics stooped to an even lower level as they recommend repairs for my vehicle that weren't even needed, to the tune of several thousands of dollars. After suspecting something wasn't right, I took my car to the dealership. Only 2 repairs out of the several BLVD recommend were actually needed, and, get this... they were done for several hundreds less than what BLVD quoted me for the same repairs. They also advised I make several replacements to my exhaust system, which, again, the dealership didn't recommend and further informed me that should the problems mentioned in my inspection from BLVD actually need attention, the appropriate and much more cost effective thing to do would be to take it to an exhaust shop for welding - which was never even presented as an option by anyone at BLVD. I've waited several months to write this review to ensure nothing more came up since my switch to the dealership. It's a shame this place exploited the trust of a loyal customer and has resorted to trying to rip people off, buyer beware, forewarned...
