St. John Oktoberfest — Local services in St. John

Would highly not recommend this festival in the future if you want to eat, we will not be back! Rating should be zero stars. We went here on Saturday at about 4:20. We bought food and drink tickets according to what we wanted to eat off their menu. We got in line for our food and someone said they were out of two food items for the platter and more should be there in an hour to hour and a half. We waited in line for 30 minutes to get what my wife wanted to get. When it was our turn to order they were pretty much out of everything only having half of the perogies. They said the food was being cooked at the restuarant but didn't know when it would arrive. Was not going to wait in line for over another half hour minimum. While I was waiting in line I saw a server drop a utensil on the ground and pick it up and place it on the table near the food, where someone could pick it up and use it. I notified a guy that appeared to be inspecting the food temperatures and he had the girl remove the utensil from service. Cleanliness could also be an issue here!! No music was playing while we were in line. We went back and requested a refund of our tickets and they did refund without an issue. Again I would recommend you not attend this Oktoberfest in the future. After talking to a few other people afterwards about St John Oktoberfest others have been unhappy with...

Very much looked forward to trying this out. The food was sub-par. Cold brats. The kraut was terrible. It watered down my brat bun into a soggy mess that fell apart. So disappointing. The beer was just Eh…. They should get another vendor for the beer. The perogi was excellent!!!! We won’t go back...

The food was great, the imported beer was ice cold, it was fun to try all the different kinds! All the friends and family came together to enjoy the music and experience! I would definitely go again! Nice environment , highly recommend! We got to bring a glass...
