Metropolitan Community Church of Greater Saint Louis — Local services in St. Louis

I went to this church years ago, moved to San Francisco, and immediately came back to this church when I returned to Saint Louis 7 years ago. This faith community is consistently welcoming, friendly and open minded. It offers an especially important opportunity for those from the LGBT community to reclaim their spiritual life, and to heal from hurts that may have been experienced in other church settings. It is a healthy, upbeat environment for anyone, of any sexual orientation!

What has been really exciting over the last year, has been the new energy brought through a new ministry team and diverse programs. Programs allow participants to engage in the kind of experience that fits for where they are spiritually and personally - widely ranging from Spiritual Intensives, through Financial Workshops, trips to the ballpark, hayrides and meditation. There are opportunities for each person to choose very intense involvement and growth, or to engage only a social/fun level.

The message given on 3/26 2017 by the pastor was a word from God given for everyone in every community. This was the first time visiting churches in the St. Louis metropolitan area that I could feel the love of God resonating from regular parishioners such as not offered from other community institutions.
