Crowne Vision Center was the worst experience ever. The eye doctor and assistant were perfectly nice... it was the unfriendly front of house staff at Crowne Vision in Loughborough Commons who steered me towards the most expensive frames, didn't give me a heads-up that progressive lenses were SO much more expensive than single vision glasses (nor that I had a choice to not get them), and did not explain to me how little my crummy insurance plan covered.

I am not sure why I still bought glasses there, but at least I had the presence of mind to ask for my prescription printed out since that was not offered by any staff. They never did provide me with an itemized receipt as requested.

As a lifelong nearsighted klutz with awful night sight, I always order the best scratch proof and UV protection. I am incredibly disappointed with Crowne Vision's lens quality.

The lenses themselves did not hold up as expected for the high price I paid. For "scratch proof", I've gotten better mileage from the cheapest scratch-proof options on bargain sites. My lenses held up barely 3 months (which is what has prompted me to write this review). From just normal accidental putting my glasses glass side down on the bedtable, there are dozens of hairline scratches... and this interferes with my driving safely at night.

The frame, a cheaper mid-range that I finally settled on, is no higher quality than a nice $25 frame off any cheap frame website.

After I gave poor feedback in a customer survey immediately after my awful experience with their sales/front-of-house staff, someone from corporate did reach out to me and apologized... Had I known that the lenses would barely last 3 months before the scratch proof apparently wore off (if it was ever on my lenses to begin with), I would have demanded to return and refund my purchase.

Picking up my glasses was a waste of time. They should have been shipped to me, free, for all the "fitting" that was done. The staff was not the same and was congenial but distracted and I really just wanted to get my awful experience with Crowne Vision over with at that point anyway.

This was a regrettable $458 experience (and I'm still not sure what exactly my crummy insurance covered, though I think it covered the exam and $50 towards the frames or something).

In comparison, without any insurance, an eye exam ELSEWHERE would have been about $100, plus $30 frames, premium progressive with scratch and blue light protection for a total of about $270 including the eye exam (so about $170 for frames and lenses). You can see why I was in utter price shock at $458 for this horrible quality and service at Crown Vision Center!

I will be continuing to drive farther away to anywhere else for my next eyewear prescription appointment and glasses purchase (if I ever purchase in person again after this). I feel bad for the nice optometrist and her assistant, because everything else about Crown Vision Optical was a...

I had a horrible experience here. I usually use TurboTax's free tax software. I came to H&R block Loughborough solely to apply for a refund anticipation loan. I made it very clear to my "tax professional" Pamela that I needed to apply for a loan. After promising that I would recieve a text about the loan, I noticed her computer screen said that I had not yet applied for the loan. So I asked her again , and she told me not to worry about it I would be hearing from them soon. I had a bad feeling about it, but with her 30+ years experience, I thought I could trust her. So I went and reviewed my paperwork and she did not apply for the loan like I asked. I went back to the office and they told me if I wanted the loan, I should have asked while I was there. I couldn't believe what I was hearing considering I had asked her multiple times to confirm. She did not seem focused on my taxes and took several personal calls during my interview. I am not one to give poor reviews, but I could not be more dissatisfied. Not only did I not get what I asked for, they stuck me with a nearly $300 bill for their service. Stay far away from H&R block. I feel like they just told anything to get me in there to take several hundred out...

The store itself was clean and very well stocked, organized, and signs pointing you in the right direction when you're trying to find items. My only snafu was Jordan, the cashier. She was extremely rude. When walking into her line while she is checking someone out, she tells my husband and I to stop. There's no reason why or anything just stop. Then, when we reached her register, she was not friendly at all. She did not speak to us just rang our 3 items up. As I tried leaving the lane, there were 2 carts in my way, so I tried pushing them to the side. Now, whatever would I do that for? Jordan stopped ringing up the customer behind us and snatched the carts from me, only to push them to the side and talk with a co-worker who was doing her job. Mind you, the customer, she was ringing up still standing there waiting for her to finish ringing him so he could leave. My 1st job was Schnucks grocery store on South Grand and gravouis. Dan Ditmier was my boss. Craig Shaffer was regional. I know this attitude this young lady displayed isn't the...

My shopping experience at this location was actually quite good on the day that I went in with friendly helpful staff and cheerful customers who engaged and small talk. They also had fresh produce and were in stock of all of the items that I was looking for. The only complaint that I had was that as we were walking aroundThe property to get to our car my daughter found a stray bullet and in my opinion this is highly unacceptable and the violence in St. Louis needs to stop. Once your kid starts picking up stray bullets as you were trying to grocery shop I think that is a sign that we as a community need to make a change

Has most of what you would need foodwise. Still a good choice for grocery shopping. Other types of stores in the area as well. T-MOBILE, Quardoba's and others. The self-scan at Schucks come in handy. Quadoba's is no longer open.
