There's an awesome grass patio! - I had no idea. It's so spacious and well shaded with tables and duo seating. Also people are friendly it's a bunch of picnic tables so seems fairly social.
I follow the socials and have wanted to go since they opened.
Portions of ice cream sandwiches are deceptive, I thought it was petite IT was a LOT packed in a square. Totally satisfying. I had the staff limited run Tombo which is a strawberry shortcake styling. My friends loved their's - including a non-dairy ice cream option that has a homemade rice crispy outer sandwich which worked for their reduced lactose needs. RICE CRISPY ice cream sandwich!!! Too cool.
They also loved their oatmilk iced coffee.
Will love to come back. - In the neighborhood is a lunch and dinner spot too. I used to do theater around the corner with St. Louis Shakespeare before they moved to Soulard area. They would have loved this shop.
P.S. It was adorable for introvert Pride watching as it was the last weekend of June so I was happy to support an LGBT friendly business I wanted to meet everyone, because it felt good to be around...
Read moreWe made a New Year’s Eve road trip from St. Charles to The Patch Neighborhood just to buy some ice cream sandwiches at Sugarwitch. We had seen a post about Sugarwitch on TikTok and it just seemed like a place we had to visit. While the drive took about 45 minutes, the trip was well worth the time it took. The shop itself was cool and very much a throwback to a time when ever neighborhood had its own bakery (which is what the shop had been in a past life). The staff was super-friendly and helpful. Best of all, the ice cream sandwiches were delightful. We order a Witch’s Dozen, which allowed us to taste every ice cream sandwich on the menu. Each one was better than the next. What was particularly, interesting is that among the six of us we each selected a different ice cream sandwich as our favorite meaning every ice cream sandwich was someone’s favorite. Sugarwitch makes great ice cream sandwiches and is definitely worth the trip if you are in the...
Read moreWhile on a date night, my husband and I finished dinner and decided to look up a nearby place to get some ice cream. Sugar Witch popped up and looked interesting, so we decided to check it out. We walked in and were greeted with friendly service and very unique looking ice cream sandwiches.
While there, a woman commented that she lived 40 minutes away but comes to Sugar Witch bi-weekly to stock up on these sandwiches because they are THAT good. This prompted me to do the same, as we also live 40 minutes away, and I think we bought 8 different ice cream sandwiches! She rang us up and I was a little surprised at the total. We left and thought, “We just spent $72 on ice cream sandwiches?!”
Well…I’m here to say…WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! We have never had ice cream sandwiches like this!! NEXT LEVEL! And the tacos are just as good!!! WOW!!
I too will now be driving to Sugar Witch at least monthly to...
