The Halfway Haus — Restaurant in St. Louis

This place struck me as being a nice friendly neighborhood bar in the South Carondolet area. I found a medium sized rather diverse lunch time crowd of very friendly talkative men and women there. A great crew working there that seemed to actually enjoy being there. The food was good, the crowd was fun, and I enjoyed several good conversations over a couple of quite reasonably priced drinks. This is a nice south side bar that's perfect for chilling out and meeting with friends. I didn't have any of their food and I don't drink alcohol but I've been told the munchies are worthy and the bartender will serve your drink with a smoke whether it's alcoholic or not.
