LOCALS: Whether you have visitors coming to town or just have civic pride, make sure you check out STL-Style in the Cherokee neighborhood. This local small business is run by 2 brothers who are very proud of our city and have developed creative ways to express it. I’m a HUGE fan of STL’s city flag; it has won several awards for its clarity, creativity and simplicity. The flag itself tells the story of the city of STL and I’ve posted a pic explaining its key symbols. I love this image and they have it on Tote bags, hats, keychains, stickers, iron on patches, umbrellas, T-shirts, coasters, socks, scarves, underwear and even onesies! I love Saint Louis and hate to hear folks denigrate our fair burg. Of course we have our own problems but there is so much good about Saint Louis!

I discovered STL Style from their Bob Kramer Marionette commemorative t-shirts that benefit Dug and Bob Kramer's family after the devastating fire that destroyed their puppet theater and also took Bob's life. Beyond the much needed monetary assistance from the shirt sales, STL Style offered their talents and skills to help keep alive the memory of a little theater beloved by generations of St. Louis kids.

I have been at the STL Style shop several times now and every time they have been very welcoming and helpful. I placed an order for about 15 of the commemorative t-shirts and they made sure I understood everything, got exactly what I needed and got it fast.
