Food is Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!💝💝💝💝💝💝❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I’m very picky about my food, I’m a person that’s Leary about trying new food and I hate wasting my money 💴, my niece ask me if I want to try their food, it was a Saturday I was going to cook soul food for Sunday I wanted some so bad, so I look at the menu and put the Jerk chicken wings Mac and cheese and sweet potatoes together. Sweet potatoes oh my was so great, Mac and cheese they use the big shells it was good but you do not get enough you have a container that has real small corners, and the amount is so small for what you pay for it, I did not like the chicken wing very little with no meat and no seasoning at all they just taste like smoked chicken. I do not like smoked chicken. When I tried it again I looked at the menu real good and decided to try the quarter chicken leg, they were not fully done so I could not eat them I waited a few days and put them in the oven with a little seasoning and BBQ sauce. With ordering the quarter legs over wings this time I felt I was at least getting my monies worth, my meal felt a little bit more balancing then before oh it came with beans and rice it was ok, no taste, I could have had more Mac and cheese over the beans and rice, maybe I will be able to replace that next time, I will try again and I have told other about this place, my family and friends know if I like something it has to be good because I’m soooooooo picky about my food. Maybe they can give people options with a spicy BBQ sauce I buy it all the time, sweet babe rays, they even have off brand Spicy BBQ sauce, Schnucks sell them also, they are great and save a...

Ever since De Palm Tree closed I’ve been trying to find a replacement. I went here today as we were looking for some nearby food before a concert. It was 30 minutes before close and wasn’t sure if they’d have anything left. Luckily for us they still had plenty of chicken which is why we went there in the first place. The place is small and there’s nowhere to sit but honestly it’s places like that who have the best food. I ordered the wings and they were fantastic. Mine were crispy which is unusual for a jerk wing but it worked well. The real star of the show was their homemade jerk hot sauce. It was a flavor explosion of Caribbean spices and mildly sweet heat. Next time I’m in the area I’ll stop by just to see if they sell a big container of the sauce by itself. Also here’s a pro tip: any time you’re about to eat some jerk chicken do whatever you have to do to enjoy it with a cold bottle of Ting. It’s not the same without it. At the end of the day this experience was unfortunately not quite as good as De Palm Tree - those honeyed wings have yet to be beaten by any other local Jamaican restaurant in my opinion. Super friendly staff and owner. I would recommend this place to anyone....

We heard so many good things about the restaurant, so we decided to try it today. Unfortunately, while me husband was eating his jerk chicken wings we discovered 3 strands of hair in his food. He did say the food was good but is the principle, someone is not wearing a hair net and I had to call to make them aware. I asked for the manager and made the young lady that answered the phone aware of what took place. When she returned from putting me on hold, she rudely explained I needed to bring the food back to receive any kind of credit. I told her my husband ate most of his food and we only wanted a credit for the jerk chicken wings plate. She rudely said again no matter which way we resolve this you still have to bring back the food. There was no apology and she was the rudest, attitude having little girl that obviously needs some customer service etiquette classes. Why is it always us blacks who treat each other in this manner? I spent $68 for two meals and two pieces of cake and this is how you treat me. I don't care how good those chicken wings were you would never get my...

New to St. Louis and tried their food for the first time today. It was amazing! Tasted so authentic. Can’t get this quality of Jamaican food anywhere else! They bring fine dining to an already amazing cuisine!!
