Hey everyone I want to report that a manager at Aldi location here in st Mary’s ga was very disrespectful during my recent visit. Their behavior made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. The experience was upsetting enough that I don’t feel comfortable returning to Aldi again ever. I hope this issue can be addressed so other customers don’t have a similar experience. It all started because I had cheese that looked as if it was old no longer fresh , and stated to her and my friend and she snapped on me and stated how the cheese looked and how it looked and I buy it all the time and it was indeed no longer suitable to sale but she become outraged about it so I tried to tell her I just don’t feel comfortable and asked her if she was okay I then sat the cheese on the registry and continued to place my items on as well she instantly snapped on me started belittling me talking to me as if I was a child over where I placed the cheese I than stated I’m not comfortable with the way it looks and don’t want to purchase and I’m sorry also I was going to hand you the cheese once you were done with my friend purchase and on mine she then started trying to snap on me about why the cheese looks the way it looks and I then tell her I no longer want her I’m not sure of what’s going on but I want someone else to rang me up because she has a nasty attitude she said she’s the store manger she don’t care I can leave she go rang me up and I’m going to leave I then lost it not go lie and snapped and and told her I’m Not her child I can leave everything because I’m not comfortable she snatches my items tell me to get out and don’t ever come back and if I ever do she will trust pass me I then tell her I don’t want to with an store manager like her anyways she not stopped me from shopping but stopped me from feeding my three small children I will be reaching out to cooperate tomorrow morning in regards to this but I pray no one else has to go through...
Read moreAn amazing Aldi and so thankful we have one in town. Very clean, nice staff, and very efficient layout.
Also to the Americans, who don’t understand how Aldi works: they close at 8pm & have you bring your own reusable bags or (pay for them,) have a quarter for the cart to CUT costs on the groceries. You can tell that there are Americans leaving bad reviews because they don’t understand how European stores work. 🙄 embarrassing.
Having a quarter to return a cart saves money & is smart: you don’t have to pay somebody to do it. Buying bags is more eco friendly or bringing your own reusable grocery bags cut costs also. Closing early/normal also Cuts costs of paying people for working super late (and people have lives!?) . If you don’t like it, go to Walmart where Americans thrive or better plan your...
Read moreHave shopped Aldi in 6 states and Germany. I am so thrilled to have this store close to home. I always have my Aldi quarter ready and my Aldi bags in the back of the car. Yes, you get your quarter back when you return your cart. The bags lower the amount of waste and help the environment. The way much of the food is packaged and displayed also helps reduce waste and helps the environment. Small steps make big strides. Everything looked bright and fresh. I was thrilled to see the carts fully inside. They usually are outside. Big Welcome. #ada #access #carts #environment #save #holmansellhomes #meat...
