We had to leave before the movie started. When we walked into the theater where our movie was going to be playing, we immediately noticed a horribly strong moldy smell. We really wanted to see this movie so I was hoping maybe it wouldn't seem so bad after a few minutes. I was wrong. After just a few minutes in there I developed a headache and my daughter told me it was making her feel sick. We left the theater and stood in the ticket/concession line again in order to talk to the manager. As I was standing in line, I noticed the popcorn was being scooped out of a large clear plastic bag in the back room, into another container that was carried to the front and emptied into the glass container/counter where the cashier would scoop it into the containers purchased by the customers. Now I understood why the popcorn didn't taste fresh. When I told the manager about the smell, she immediately refunded the price of the tickets and asked me to fill out my information on the bottom of a refund slip. When I started to fill out the refund reason section, she pulled it away from me and said " I'll fill that out". I thought that seemed shady. Hopefully all the theaters in that building don't have the same smell. I would've given a better review if the manager would have apologized and indicated they were going to be taking steps to remedy the mold problem and/or made it right by refunding the entire amount including the large popcorn and drink, as the only reason I pay the overinflated prices for the popcorn and soda is to enjoy while...
Read moreThis theater has definitely seen better days. Location is what keeps it going as the nearest theater is a good 20 min drive away. Service is amazing here, especially the ticket takers which know us and greets us with a smile and joke.
If you're seeing a high traffic movie, you'll trek to the back of the theater for the better screens. All screens have a distinct smell, the smaller screens closest to the entrance the worst. Sound isn't nearly as good as other chains. The screen size and visual quality seem pretty good.
Concessions can be hit or miss, especially the popcorn. They store the popcorn in heated bins at the concession counter. No way of really knowing how old it is. Regular Coke has a strange taste to us, so we always go for Root Beer instead. You'll also get a small discount by signing up for their rewards program which will also earn freebies.
The other major advantage is that you won't find showings have sold out. It can get busy on weekend nights, but I've never had to sit next to anyone here. Ever. And we've seen A LOT of...
Read moreDisrespectful staff and management. I allowed my little brother to go and see a movie on his own with his friends while I went to see another movie and my movie finished first so I wanted to go in and let him know I was done and would wait on him but I couldn’t even get in because a very rude lady grabbed me by the shoulder and pushed me out of the theater saying I couldn’t be in there even though I had no intent on staying, simply checking on my brother. Wouldn’t even let me explain why I was there, just didn’t even believe me. My phone had died so I couldn’t text him or anything and the lady went to complain to someone else and claimed I was lying. Had to wait for my little brother outside and he was very confused and worried. While I was waiting, employees kept giving rude glares and treating me like I was about to rob them when I was simply sitting at bench in my pjs tired waiting for my little brother. Overpriced food and tickets and very rude staff. Will not be...
