My physician sent my prescriptions to this location in September.
The prescriptions were not life or death medications, they were moreso nutritional vitamins and supplements, so I was not pressed to hound them about them.
Over time, it slipped my mind.
There was never any notification sent to me (texts, emails, automated phone call, etc.) to advise me that they were eventually ready for pick up.
Months later, I realized, "Heyyyyy... I never received those vitamins/supplements, etc."
I could not reach the pharmacy by phone so I stopped in.
The pharmacist was not wearing a name tag, so I can only identify her by her physical traits for the purposes of this review. She appeared to perhaps be of Middle Eastern decent. (Only mentioning for identification purposes).
She did not have a friendly demeanor, she did not smile, she was not welcoming towards me, she never greeted me, and in fact, she was quite dismissive in her body language.
There was a young lady with simply "B" on her name tag. She was more perky and very friendly.
"B" saw that the pharmacist was not welcoming and she decided to assist in her stead.
Unfortunately, "B" advised me that the prescriptions had been returned to the shelves and were no longer available.
She advised that they could get them ready again, but some of the items were no longer in stock.
I was advised that they may be able to be purchased from a nearby location.
I asked "B" if she could check the system to confirm that the other location had the items in stock, so as to not make a dry run.
She advised me that I could contact them for myself, and she wrote their phone number down for me to do so.
I asked "B" if she could call over to the other location on my behalf since I was there in her store and it would be so helpful for me as the customer.
She refused.
The pharmacist overheard the conversation, and I asked her for her assistance.
She came to the counter and took over for "B".
She advised me that she would order the items and I could come pick up my prescriptions the following day.
The next day came, they still did not have my order/prescriptions ready.
I contacted customer service by phone.
They claimed that they would take care of it for me and help me to access my medicines.
They did not.
I spent over an hour on the phone with them, only for no manager to ever contact me to explore my complaint. They did not call to apologize for the inconvenience and poor service or anything at all.
I asked them to please transfer to prescription to a different location (Breckenridge Lane/Hikes Point). They assured me that they would do so and that the prescription would be ready within a couple of hours...
Long story short, that location hadn't even received my prescription transfer even up to 1-2 days later!
I showed up there and they didn't even know what I was talking about...
They too had to order some of the vitamins and supplements and advised me that it would be a day before they'd be ready.
Never happened.
At this point, I was beyond frustrated. So I asked the CVS employee (this is on Breckenridge Lane/Hikes Point now) if she could just mail my medicines to me once they came in because I grew tired of driving there and they not having my order.
She promised that she'd mail them when they came in... This was back in November... It's now JANUARY and I STILL haven't heard from them!!
With this being TWO locations AND customer service line that were terrible with service and follow-through, it is safe to say that I will not be...
Read moreI have never encountered such rude behavior from a pharmacy. There were 3 women working this past Saturday, Feb. 3rd and after 7min of 2 of them arguing with me... Finally one of them walked over and actually talked to me face to face & not behind 2 rows of counters. It was extremely unprofessional, I felt like I was raising my voice the whole time for one of them to even give me eye contact. They were whispering & saying my doctor gave me false information (which was not true). I had to go to another CVS to be told that the ones in Target were lazy & lied to me about checking inventory for medications. He said they absolutely can check the inventory at other stores, & he did just that for me at the Lexington Rd store. I have been out of my prescription for 5 days now, not the gentleman's fault at the CVS that helped me... But I never had this issue when I went to Walgreens & plan on paying extra to avoid the rudeness & at least know my prescriptions will be in stock or can be moved to a different location where stock is available. This experience was hands down the worst customer service I've...
Read moreI had the worst experience with the pharmacist 01/2023. Not only did it take 4 days to fill a prescription, but after two phone calls at 27 and 9 minutes, I just went to the store because my daughter has been out of meds for 3 days.
He told me I couldn’t get a loaner “Because the law didn’t apply to me,” And there’s “nothing I (he) can do” when I asked what to do about the fact that my daughter was out of her medication for 3 days already.
THEN HE PROCEEDED TO CLOSE THE GATES TO THE PHARMACY 10 MINUTES BEFORE CLOSING, basically in my face. It was the rudest experience I’ve EVER had at a store and I’m 40.
I switched to Walgreens first thing the next morning. I know he probably doesn’t care about this post or me (or any patient?) but no one deserves to be...
