The worst experience I've had in Louisville and I've lived here for 10 years.
The "kids" they have working the front lack any form of customer service. I'm not talking fine dining service, but just the basics would be good.
Argued about bringing plates and forks to eat the appetizers with, told us our plate and fork come with the entree as we only can have one during our visit. I get it, but these are not disposable dishes...reusable good ole fashioned plates, but you still only get one.
Their register isn't in sync with their menu, just about 98% of it. So, when we ordered from the menu (C-13), the register sees it as (C-14). So I imagine they were going to just hope these folks wouldn't know the difference. Instead of just taking care of it, they came to the table and took the wrong dish away, then after 15 minutes we received the corrected one.
Get this, they also made us pay $2.17 more because their register was programmed erroneously.
To help set the stage:
They keep all the napkin holders empty to ensure you only use a single piece. We checked...they all had 4 single square paper pieces.
Their food quality is not great (unless you like cheap tasting cuisine). All the dishes have a heavy and thick sauce that did not present well or taste good.
Be aware...Orange Chicken and General Chicken are the EXACT same, except for the 3 small slivers of orange they put on top the dish. You would think they would tell you that since you only ordered both so similar we should go with something else. Instead we walked to the counter after we tasted the food and then they informed us the dishes are exactly the same minus the few pieces of orange that get put on top.
The icing on the cake was when we asked for a large To-Go container, they are so cheap as to not use one of their plastic containers sitting at the register, instead they made us wait so they could go get small and cheap foam containers. We asked why they did that and they said those are only for take-out.
Honestly, we were so blown away by their ability to provide the basics of service we didn't enjoy any of the food. Just based on service alone this place is horrible. We will not be visiting this...

But with it being so late we just wanted to eat. First let me say everyone was super nice. Even being tired they had a smile on their face and were polite. When they brought the crab ragoon (which is my daughters favorite) it was piping hot. Like i said we usually take the food home so it was the best crab ragoon we have ever had. It even came with sweet and sour sauce to dip it in. When our food came it was beautifully displayed on plates. Honestly looked picture perfect to the point I didn't want to eat it. But of course starving as we were we dug in. I got the sesame chicken which was yummy. My daughter got the general tso which was also made to perfection. And my boyfriend got the beef and mushroom which was also perfect. I was so surprised by this place because it was a tiny restaurant but definitely worth the stop in!!! I will definitely be coming back and telling everyone I know about...
Read morei visited this restaurant recently and was met with terrible service and mediocre food. i am giving two stars because the chicken was good (chicken is difficult to mess up, though..) the rest was pretty subpar. the portions were also much smaller than i am used to getting at a Chinese restaurant.
as soon as i entered, a young boy seemed to be angry that i was even there. he dragged himself out of his seat to go to the register and rudely demanded "what do you want?" when i asked if i could get mixed vegetables on the side, he looked at me like i was dumb and said "we can't do that." well, that's fine, i say, and i continue ordering my food when another girl comes and they started yelling at each other in a different language which made me really uncomfortable.
to top it off, when my food was done the boy slung the bag at me and didn't say goodbye or anything.
my advice: there are dozens of restaurants just like this, that make better food, and don't have rude kids making you feel like you're unwelcome just for giving them business - go...
