HobbyTown — Local services in St. Matthews

Alright, i did write out an earlier review of this place but upon reading it I found it lacking. So Hobby Town, has to be the best store i've been to yet that had a substantial selection. And the most impressive espect about it. Was how organized they had their kits. Ranging from Grade, to a specific point in the 40 year long gundam franchise. i adore building, and i have been building respectively for about 6 or so years now, started with the HG Zeta gundam evolution line kits. Then moving directly into a f91 mg. But aside from that my point is this place is awesome, and the staff, like one individual that i never got his name but he knew mine which was awesome. He showed interest and overall involvness with the models and showed a side i don't normally get to see in hobby stores. Normally the staff are real quiet yeah they'll help look somethig up but don't really have a common knownlegde about something they sell. I like when employess take the time to learn about their products, Either way. I'm definitly going back, i saw kits that i have never seen online or in other stores before. Really impressed and tickled pink that i finally have a go to model shop here in ole louisville KY. oh they do have the tools from gunpla building like the nippers, filing rods (I think there called something else lol) But they had it all. 12/10. As with another review-Buyer Beware. Bought 1 quad copter, would not even get off the ground. Had to drive back to the store="isn't working properly". They did allow me to "trade" to another, problems with it. After problems with the second one I said I just wanted my money back-Oh No, not our Policy. The posting of this Policy is on a cabinet you would have to be on your knees to read, the second is covered up as soon as you put merchanside on the counter. They state the web site with their name is not theirs, but they want to quote from a return policy on it that basically says, if you open the box (which you have to do so see if it works) there is no return.NOTE: IF IT ISN'T YOUR WEB SITE, HOW CAN IT BE YOUR POLICY? Had shopped here previously with a good experience the gentleman was super knowledgeable and helpful…. Then Today.. I saw a lady come out of the store, possibly the owner, And literally yelled at a young girl (maybe 12-14) for standing by their door. She said that she did not want her blocking the door when in fact she wasn’t she was standing near the door. I saw the girl open the door from multiple customers. Rude behavior of this type should not be tolerated towards an adult much less a child
