We go here quite often. Yes the chicken WAS delicious, when the young man used to cook it! He was always so friendly, always had a smile on his face, and cooked some AWESOME chicken! But the lady who runs the front counter Cynthia is very RUDE, everytime we go in there. But I've noticed that the young man does not work there anymore? So today I went in the store and purchased 4tenders a honey biscuit, two 24oz cherry cokes, and a banana bread with cream cheese icing. Well when I first walked in I was not greeted, and when Cynthia came over to take my order she was very rude and short. So I get my stuff and proceed to the checkout! First she over charged me for my drinks, then she wanted to argue with me about it when the sign on the door clearly stated they were on sale. So I got that one sorted out. So we leave and I go to eat my chicken and then I noticed She must have given me the smallest chicken in the whole pan, my biscuit had no honey, and it was all COLD. So now Im really aggravated. So I simply called and asked to speak to the owner and Cynthia said I'm the owner?? Wich I know shes not! So I stated that my chicken was cold and my biscuit didn't have any honey butter on it? Is their anyway you could please drop me some fresh chicken, and put honey butter on a biscuit for me and I will bring back my original order and just swap it out, please? She stated that the chick had just come out of the grease 2 seconds before I walked through the door and the biscuits were covered in honey cause she did it herself! So I asked if she was going to swap out my order or not and she said NO very rudely! So I said fine I will just bring everything back and u can just give me a full refund! Well I did and she cussed me out and told me that she didn't have to do a damn thing, or take anything back! All while the REAL owner was giving me a refund and being very polite and professional about the whole situation! So she proceeded to get louder and more disrespectful, talking about how ragged r wrk van is, and how we r the ones that r always rude to her, so yes I admit I did eventually call her the "B" word but I mean when is enough, enough? So needless to say I will NEVER be back in that store as long as that "fat, rude, disrespectful, b*tch, works there! Their r plenty of other professional places that would love to have my money and treat u with RESPECT! Something St. Matthew's Mini Mart knows...

I went in for some milk and a Gatorade. I didn't see any prices, but figured it couldn't be more than $4-5.

I paid almost $7 for a HALF GALLON OF MILK and Powerade. They just typed in the amount to a card reader. The place was sketchy and reeked of marijuana. It was humid near the fridges and had a "basement smell." I should have just walked out, but didn't want to deal with any hassle if I rejected the sale, so I just paid and left....
