New 7-11 on hwy 90 [and Avenue E] for those heading to the med center from the burbs. Place is clean with ample options of food and drinks. You have Laredo tacos and a chicken spot [forgot the name] inside manned by some friendly staff. Grabbed a breakfast taco this morning and it was delicious. Tortilla was fresh and warm. We were able to customize our taco with the desired filling and toppings. Breakfast tacos cost about $2.19 each and it was loaded. Cheese was extra. We checked out the drink options, which had a variety of soda and slurpy options. Some very unique ones like dragonfruit. My kids felt like they were in a candy store. They picked out their slurpie. There is also a lemonade slushie machine with different flavors. There's a nitro cold brew coffee dispenser. There's a hot chocolate dispenser with a bunch of variety of flavors. There's the generic 7-11 coffee dispenser if you just want black coffee and add all your fixings after. There's another coffee dispenser that prepare cappuccino, mochas, chai latte, etc. Coffee bar also has all their flavored creamers, milk, and syrups. We have found our new convenient gas and goodies stop for the morning. The staff were so friendly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI hate leaving bad reviews but this place needs help. I live in this area and was excited when I saw 7 eleven coming but it has disappointed ever since it opened. I gave it time as I knew everything was new but it hasn't gotten better. Laredo taco and Raise the Roost: food is never fresh, I've been to other similar stores and in the morning the food was always fresh and lunch was fresh. This place always seems to have old dried food that was probably made at 3am or the day before, not sure. The other issue is you can't get anyone to help you with any urgency. I had to order breakfast because nothing was ready and when I did find someone it took them forever to make it. People are in a hurry when coming here because they go to work so I shouldn't have to wait almost 30 minutes to get food. My main complaint are the Slurpee machines, why are y'all turning into McDonald's? These machines are always out of order when I come or there is 1 flavor working that no one wants. I would go almost every day to get one for me and my family. They never work. Circle K is across the street and I just go there now even for gas. I wish they would turn this one into a Japanese...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually rely on 7-Eleven for quick and convenient service, but this location was a real disappointment. The hot food items were made two days ago, which was concerning in terms of freshness. The roller grill had items, but they were not ready, and the coffee machine was not working properlyāit wouldnāt dispense correctly and only filled the cup about an inch.
At Laredo Taco, there was no one available to take orders, which was frustrating. The pastries on the shelves looked old and unappealing, and the bathroom was not well maintained.
I hope management takes notice and improves the storeās upkeep and service. 7-Eleven is usually a great stop, but this location needs some...
